Hotaru was a quiet and secretive child who never had many friends. Because of a strange attitude and what she called seizures she hurt many of her classmates and killed her fish. Chibi-usa became friends with Hotaru and even when Hotaru had her seizures Chibi-usa was not afraid and continued to be her companion. One regretful day a lab explosion caused Hotaru to die in her father(Professor Tomoe)'s arms. Her father would give anything to get his daughter's life back An evil creature showed up and said that it would bring Hotaru back to life if Professor Tomoe allowed a dark force to reside in Hotaru's body while she lived. Her father agreed and allowed this creature to enter his daughter's body. Hotaru gained a violent temper. Many times the dark force would take over Hotaru's body without warning causing her to become the evil Mistress9(Click here to see some Mistress9 pictures). Mistress9 was unstoppable, she eventually captured Chibi-usa's heart crystal(basicaly her life force) and Sailor Moon's Holy Grail(Without this Usagi could not henshin/transform). The Sailor Senshi all came together and finally healed Mistress9, causing her to be reborn as a baby and also giving Sailor Moon a new transformation. |
| Death Reborn Revolution: Not used in the anime but understood to have been used against Pharoah90, this attack would destroy all life totally in turn creating a "silence". This attack is used in the manga, Sailor Saturn would have desroyed all the life, but Sailor Pluto sent her away first to the Tau star system, along with Pharoah 90. |
