Alice Cooper: School’s Out

This is a really great album. I actually discovered it in my mom's old record collection a few months ago and was very surprised and pleased with my find. (Who would've thought SHE had Alice Cooper). All of the songs on here are solid, I have no complaints about any of them. The instrumental medley at the end it kinda cool; it offers a different perspective on the music. "Blue Turk" has a great swingy attitude thing going on- the kind of song that gives you an attitude when it's listened to. "Gutter Cat vs. the Jets" starts off as an intersting love song and then goes into the Jet Song from West Side Story... cool. "Alma Mater" has a great gritty growly sound that's sure to please PLUS a catchy "hey, hey hey" thing going on. And then of course, there's the title track. How can you not agree with it? It just works perfectly. And it'll have you singing the "no more pencils, no more books..." line all day and nite. And if you're lucky enough to get this on old good condition vinyl, you'll be playing with all the cool album cover features too.
