In the 1851 the Kingdom of Sardinia it comprised : the Piemonte,the Liguria,the Savoia, the isle of Sardinia,and the County of Nizza. The state was divided in 14 Divisions : Turin, Genoa, Annecy,Alexandria,Chambery,Wedge,Ivrea,Nizza,Novara,Savona,Vercelli, Cagliari,Sassari,Nuoro. The stamps of the Kingdom of Sardinia were printed from Francesco Matraire di Torino. First Emission ( 1851) was printed in litho on thick paper,smooths down,in sheets of 50 exemplary uniform in two placed side by side of 25 ( 5x5) separated from a "interspazio". Second Emission ( 1853) totally in rilief with perforationto dry,on paper thin colored. Sheet of 50 exemplary like the previous ones. Third Emission ( 1854) be obtained with the same system of the perforation to dry, but on white paper previously separated with a lithographic bottom,that she leaves free to the oval center of the figure . Sheets of 50 exemplary. The Quarter Emission ( 1855-1863) was printed in lithographie with the single one effige on relief. Also this printed emission in sheets of 50 exemplary like the previous one.To the contrary of the previous emission the sheets were sheared of the margins that normally they encircle the sheets., |
