Canada shows it's true colors

Canadians came out in droves to mourn the close to 5,000 or more innocent people who lost their lives after four hijacked airplanes crashed, two into the World Trade Center in New York, one in to The Pentagon in Washington and the other, which was on course for The White House, crashed in Pennsylvania thanks to the heroic action of three passengers aboard the doomed flight. This photo was taken in Ottawa.

Tragedy felt in Germany

The terrorist attacks in the U.S. were felt in Europe as well, as demonstrated in this picture taken in Hamburg, Germany. Firefighters hold a moment of silence for their fallen American comrades. The WTC attack claimed more than 350 NYC firefighters, forcing NYFD to call up 168 firemen. The Pressroom.
