The following pages record the number of different Perfins that can be found on the Postage Stamps of Great Britain. This is not intended to be a Catalogue of G.B. Perfins as that already exists in the form of the The Gault Catalogue of Great British Perfins. This series of documents have been generated by the Catalogue Editor using information contained within the Gault Catalogue, and have been created to give an idea of exactly how many, or quite how few, different Perfins are known on each individual postage stamp. Lists of the Perfins involved will not generally be available, although there will be exceptions to this rule.
Perfin dies found on postage stamps from all six reigns
Just over 100 Victorian perfin dies are found on postage stamps from all six reigns, right into the Elizabethan era. These are recorded in the Earliest and Longest Lived Dies list. Of these, just three (shown below) may also be found on the Line Engraved stamps of Queen Victoria.
