I wish I could claim to be the originator of all the information, research, and theories presented on this website, but it is not so. I have been fortunate to receive many contributions from several dedicated Beale hobbyists. These are all identified on the pages where the information is presented.
My collaborators listed below deserve special recognition for their efforts which were fundamental elements in the unravelling of this mystery.
Richard H. Greaves
He relentlessly pursued basic research of newspaper archives, city directories, genealogies of the Beale personalities, and much more, for three decades. He identified John W. Sherman as the author.
Robert Ward
His 60-page Beale Monograph presents extensive correlations between the life and writings of Edgar Allan Poe and the Beale story, leading to the inevitable conclusion that Poe was the guiding light for The Beale Papers.
Robert Lewxian
His excellent analysis of C1 and discovery of The Lewxian Extensions led to the first logical explanation for the Gillogly strings. He also was instrumental in the discovery of the method by which C3 was created.
