Links between The Beale Papers and The Declaration of Independence

An important new clue has been discovered and reported to this website by Jason Airdrie

Dates in The Beale Papers are alternatively stated as the year only (7 times), the month and year (7 times), or the season and year (2 times). There are five instances of specific dates containing month and day. Each of these coincides with the deceased date of a signer of the Declaration of Independence.

The odds that this coincidence is by chance is 1 in 31,528

    The dates are:

May 9

Jan 4

May 19

Dec 1

Jan 5

Summaries of each signer's life are available here:

Beale's letter of January 4th contains the following line:

"The papers enclosed herewith will be unintelligible without the key, which will reach you in time..."

    Dates are time.

Finally, Robert Ward has discovered a surprising correlation between the vocabulary used in both documents. Read his analysis here in pdf format.

Comment

This suggests that The Beale Papers are a hoax as concerns the treasure story, but that there is a solution involving the DOI. The link between the two documents is now clearly more intricate than a fake C2/DOI solution by James Ward.
