Page 36 : Beale Ciphers Analyses

The Knights of the Golden Circle

After years of exhaustive research, James Simpson proposes many new revelations concerning the Beale mystery.

Code Breaking

James Simpson used artificial intelligence

as offered by ChatGPT to develop this method of

counting off the alphabets. More details on his

decryption are available on his Facebook page.

Another approach,

using The Locality of the Vault as an example,

the ciphers begin as follows: 71 194 38 1701 ...

Convert those codes by subtracting 26

(the alphabet) until there is a remainder of less

than 26 and then enter the letter numbered by

that remainder. So 71 - 26 - 26 leaves a remainder

of 19 and the 19th letter is S. Do this for all the

codes and the table on the left is the result.

This is known as the remainder function, or in an

EXCEL spreadsheet, a MOD formula produces the

same results.

I have been analyzing the Beale ciphers for 20 years

and I find it amazing that such a simple operation

can yield so much relevant information.

Jacob Waltz is the man made famous by the story of The Lost Dutchman's Gold Mine.

Maricopa county in Arizona is where Apache Junction is located, near the Superstition Mountains, the legendary location of that mine.

James Simpson, the contributor of this story has claims for the rights to 6 of these mines with the Dept. of Interior. He also holds the claim for a specific location which shows the signatures - TJB - a cattle brand.
