Dinner ReportLive from the Ford Inn, from roving drunk, Will DaviesBrief Match ReportCartworths Finest Day - For Weather! The game which was played in high friendly spirits on a daisy field! With no referee Fred steped in to Ref, leaving Charlie and his assistant Duncan to do the management! The game was played at a ferocious tempo, with Tom Morton scoring the moors first Goal! Despite The Uni Boys pulling back a goal, Jaime Vince, chipped the keeper from 40 yards to secure the game, 2-1, in spectacular fashion. With the game behind the team, the more important business of getting P****d, at the end of season do, was at hand! Dinner Report With the Guidance of Wendy, with the self proclaimed “big Gob”, the night got under way in a decent fashion. The Speeches were cramped with jokes fuelled by Mr. Fosters, and the audience was very amused! Very well done to the Committee! Congratulations to all the trophy winners, especially the clean up artist Jaime Vince. The separatist movement occurred with the nebulous faction setting up there own “mini gay table”! Ritchie Barker spent the first thirty minutes on the phone trying to secure a taxi to get to Town! Pistol Pete and Ritchie Haworth turned up, to complete the attendance! I presume the music was good from the DJ, but don’t think that anyone will be able to remember, but well-done James. One of my funniest memories: “your coming off Shortly!”. Haha guess you had to be there! Seconded though by the Referee walking off the pitch, as no one else would fetch the Match Ball, “well I’ll have to F*****G get it then!” Some of the turns by Glick to beat the man for the forth time were superb, and great to watch!!! Wendy!! ha! ha! “Hey, where my knife and fork gone, what does all that Cutlery spell?” |
