Cartworth Moor 3 v Moldgreen 3
League Game
With "We love you Keith, we do! We love you Keith, we do! We love you Keith, we do! O Keith, we love you!" echoing from the Moldgreen dressing room, the Battle of Cartworth Moor was finally over.
In an extremely difficult game, Cartworth came from behind to snatch a vital point in this brusing encounter. With some excellent performances from the whole Cartworth team Nathan and Richie Barraclough stood out.
With the Charlie the dog deciding not to play this week, James and Steve started and more surprisingly finished, up front. Despite the Moldgreen goalie trying to swap heads with James.
However in a game spoilt by Moldgreen turning up, and moaning, and whinging, and cheating, and fouling and complaining, Fred decided to rest Cartworths new Italian International who didn't even get off the bench. Probably becuase of the gale force wind!
Special mention to Keith the ref, who declined offers to move to Moldgreen and got crossed off quite a few xmas card lists, but still managed to do an excellent job.
