Fred's Song!
Fred’s - My Way Lyrics And now, the end is near; And so we face the final curtain! My friend, I'll say it clear, I'll state my case, of which I'm certain. (Relegation!) He lived a life that's full. He played at each and ev'ry level; But more, much more than this, Fred did it his way. Regrets, Moor had a few; But then again, too few to mention. Fred did what he had to do And saw it through without exemption. He planned each charted course; Each careful 5 – 3 - 2 formation, along the byway, But more, much more than this, Fred did it his way. Yes, there were times, I'm sure we knew When he bit off more than he could chew. But through it all, when there was doubt, Fred ate it up and spat it out. He faced it all and he stood tall; And did it his way. Moor loved, Moor laughed and cried. We had our fill; our share of losing. (you are not joking!) And now, as tears subside, We find it all so amusing. To think we did all that; And may we say - not in a shy way, "No, oh no not him, Fred did it his way". For what is a man, what has he got? If not himself, then he has naught. To shout the things he truly feels; And not the words of one who kneels. The record shows he took the blows - And Fred did it his way! |
