Gonome
The Gonome Xeno mutation, unlike it's distant natural cousin was the product
bio-genetic manipulation. Deep within the confines of the Black Mesa Research
facility, government agencies cohersed genetists to resequence the already
dangerously resiliant DNA strands of Xeno-infection into a weapon of war.

The Xeno-Adaptation, Codenamed "Gonome" was to have increased physical
strength, speed, increased coordination and motor functions.
This genetically altered creation was also to have been coded with a
bio-electrical failsafe device, allowing scientist's to induce pain through
means of impulse electrocution.

By doing this, Government officials believed they could break the will
of the beast into subserviant obiediance.

They were horribly mistaken. The Gonome test subjects escaped
the genetics quarentine laboratory, killing many scientists and
research personell in the process. The creatures remain on the
prowl throughout the facility and should be considered hostile
and extremely dangerous.
