For those of you who are misfortunate enough never to have met me than this is for you. My name is Dror Shachar and I was born at june 6th 1979 in Hertzilia, Israel. I went to an elementary school called "Shazar" in Hertzilia until I was 6. After that, me and my family moved to Caracas, Venezuela (where we remained until 1992). I went to a school there called "Escuela Campo Alegre" ( or E.C.A. in short). Venezuela was great but after a few years we decided we want to go back to Israel. So that was that, we came back to Israel and moved back to Hertzelia for a couple of years. You get the picture, what could we do next? That's right: move again. Only this time to a town called Hod Hasharon. I went there to a high school called "Hadarim" for the next 3 years. I graduated at the summer of '97 and had some free time on my hands for the next few months. That's until the day that shall be cursed from now to the end of time: 30/11/1997. This was the day I was drafted to the military. I will not expand on this time of my life because i am still trying to forget it. We'll simply refer to this time as "The Dark Era". Believe me that I am doing my very best to forget those troubled times but still "The Memory Remains" (said best by Metallica). Okay Dror, relax, no reason to get upset now, that's history. Alrighty than, after "The Dark Era" I went on a trip the next summer to the U.S., Argentina and Brazil. Very cool indeed. I've been to (chronological order): NY, Chicago, Kansas City, Minneapolis, Miami, Buenos Aires, Rio de Janeiro and Racife. That was awesome, I came back to Israel and at October that year I started studying for a B.A. in Communications (/Media). That's pretty much what I'm doing until now... Now that was exhausting. Anyone who has read so far probably feels the same. I hope you enjoy the rest of the site! |
