Dear Samira,I am writing to tell you about my activities last holiday. I didn't travel anywhere because the holiday was very short, only one week, but it was in part interesting. On the first day, I woke up at 9 O'clock. While I was having breakfast, I was thinking about where to spend the day. So, I decided to go to my grandma’s house. On my way there, I met up with one of my old primary school teachers. We talked about study for a short moment before I continued to my grandmother's. When I got there, I helped her with the housework, and then we spent the rest of the day talking about her adventures during her early years when she was young and wild. I didn't have any idea before that she used to be her time’s super woman.
On the following day, I woke up a bit earlier than usual, and I went to my friend's house to help her organize and prepare for her birthday party. I don't understand the reason why people celebrate their birthdays while they're getting older and their life is getting more complicated.
Apart from these two, the other days were very boring to me. I spent my time at home reading books and through them I could travel in time and place. I met serious as well as funny people and writers. I had the occasion to talk to them as long as I liked. I lived many stories and many lives, I had the opportunity to be any of the characters I wanted, and I had the chance to be immortal.
I built a private little world where I haven't just been myself but the person I wished to be. In a little time, I learnt that simple things can make and create happiness.
That's all for now. What about you? How did you spend your last holiday? I am very curious to know about your activities during that "short" holiday.
I'm looking forward to hearing from you soon.
Take care
Yours
T. B
