The Sydney Reefers were established in the Spring of 1999, by Fantasy Football guru Paul Kuchar. Sydney became one of ten charter franchises in the Masters League in August of 1999. While many teams focussed on instant gratification, Mr. Kuchar plotted a disciplined course for the future.  Sydney has score more points in each of the four years in the Masters League.  In that fourth year Sydney broke through with a Masters Championship.  Sydney set new record for points scored in that championship run.  Sydney is now poised to become the first two-time winner of the league.

Location: Sydney, Australia

Team History: The Sydney Reefers were named for the famous (Great Barrier) Reef Sharks that patrol the waters around the barrier reef. The franchise is constantly in a feeding frenzy of determination for success.

Ticket Information: Every seat in the stadium has been sold as a season ticket. The waiting list for a single ticket is currently estimated to be seventeen years, and very few people are ever willing to scalp their seat. However, Mr. kuchar has sanctioned the use of the bay for boating fans. A huge-screen has been placed on the outside wall of the stadium that will be used to show the game, live to the boats in the bay.

Interesting Facts: Many of the most dedicated fans (fin heads) can be spotted swimming along the reef, before every home game. Many Sydney players drink a shot of shark liver oil before each game. Mr. Kuchar has been rumored to communicate with the reef sharks from time to time.
