Expanding my knowledge
Topic: Library
Hello all!

Victoria (my youngest daughter) took this picture of me after my two to three hour routine of reading in my study.

You can see that after a while... reading material can overwhelm anyone.

Jay Abraham is one of my favorite authors.

This is my third reading of his book "Getting all you can out of all you've got".

Forgive the mounds of stuff... I am a pack rat.

I am in the writing stage of creating my official web site.

Angelfire.com has been a good learning tool for getting used to creating and updating web based materials.

I will let you know when I have my own domain up and running.

Until next time... I am... and will always be... Frank

Automatic Wealth for Grads
Topic: Library
Hello everyone!

I was happy to see Michael Masterson quoted me in today's issue of Early-To-Rise e-zine.

Here is what he published:

"Reader Feedback: "When Michael Masterson published his book for grads ... I just had to buy it for my daughter."

My daughter read Automatic Wealth: The Six Steps to Financial Independenceand loved it! (Even though she said Mr. Masterson sounded too arrogant. I told her he was only giving out advice that worked for him to build his own wealth.)

So ... when Michael Masterson published Automatic Wealth for Grads…and Anyone Else Just Starting Out, I just had to buy it for my daughter. I gave it to her for her 19th birthday, a couple of days ago, and she told me last night that she was getting more out of this book than the first one.

I have to admit that I snuck a peek at her book before I gave it to her. I thought it had more detailed information than the original version. Masterson breaks down his information in easy-to-follow steps and descriptions. Now I will have to buy it for my own library!

Harvey Penick's Little Red Book - Lessons and Teachings from a Lifetime in Golf
Topic: Library
I just got through reading "Harvey Penick's Little Red Book - Lessons and Teachings from a Lifetime in Golf".

I enjoyed it so much that I had to apologize about my delay in submitting a positive comment on the Amazon.com seller's feedback page. But the book was that enjoyable!

I read the book because I was told it is a good example in marketing and business management ideals.

I don't even play golf!

I was able to apply Harvey Penick's words to attitudes and approaches to life though!

He not only teaches what he has learned about golf during his long rich life, but he also teaches a philosophy in how to live one's life.

His methods of evaluating the actions of his students and sharing what he has learned in an effort to improve their lives is obvious.

He refuses to use negative impressions in his teachings. Instead, he accentuates the positive.

He educates by guiding his students instead of "teaching" them.

I love his ability to teach with images, parables and metaphors.

His chapter "First Things First" about the golfer who wanted to learn how to get out of sand traps is great! After all, the problem is not always what you think.

I challenge anyone to read "Harvey Penick's Little Red Book" and share with me how they can apply his knowledge to their business and personal lives.

Whether you play golf or not, this book is good reading!

Until next time... I am, and will always be, Frank....

Read my book review.

Then order either the book or the audio or search here. - Later...gfb3

Michael Masterson
Topic: Library
Hello all!
I was pleasantly surprised when I read my Early To Rise e-zine today. On 2 April, I wrote to Michael Masterson in response to a question he asked about marketing of some of his books.

Well, today he included my comments in his e-zine message 1703. This is what he quoted:

Reader Feedback: "I cannot absorb the wealth of information quick enough."

Dear Michael Masterson,

If your new book, Automatic Wealth for Grads, is anything like Automatic Wealth and Power and Persuasion, I think graduates will appreciate receiving all three books as graduation gifts.

I am still reading my copy of Power and Persuasion and will be adding it to my Amazon.com book reviews when I finish. You are one of my favorite authors. I have found your viewpoints to be very similar to my opinions, and I think it's amazing how you are able to put into words what I have learned and believed for years.

Keep up the good work. I am rebuilding my library and cannot absorb the wealth of information quick enough.
