This computer works very well for almost all the MAME emulated games. I could not be happier with the quality of the image output to TV or the speed of the games. It runs cool and stable, it recognizes everything I plug in with no problem. My one complaint is that boot time is full 2 min 10 sec, which is torture when you just want to play a quick game. My biggest concern was Ultimate MK3, and it runs flawlessly. Until .77, I never tried to play a game that this machine cannot handle. But in .77, Tekken 1,2,3 and TAG were introduced. No luck on these, although I have not tried anything to get them to work, one day I will mess with it. That being said, it does not run games like CrusinUSA (no home computer can run it currently). I was also dissapointed to see than the Tekken series does not play at full speed. I can, however, play the Tekkens on my 2.66 P4 Dell. Granted, it has twice the RAM, a much better video card (Radeon 9700TX), and a slightly faster hard drive.

After the next MAME update, I will need to get a bigger hard drive to house all the games, and all my MP3's, but the core settup works very well.
