Game 1 (Saturday  June 28th, 2003 @ 6:15 PM)    Mt. Lebanon vs. Riverview (winner of Brighton Heights-Riverview game) (Home - Lost 10-17)
The rules  here are different - Pitching (more innings then normal tournaments) and Stealing (home is permitted).  Alex pitched 6 innings, in the 2nd inning, the opponents scored 9 runs, but no fault to his pitching, Alex went to full counts to 1/2 the (12 batters he faced) walking 3 and striking out two batters, the scored their runs mostly on infield hits (whole game was typical of this).  Alex ended with 6 K's & 7 walks for the game and Player of the Game. By the time the Big Blue machine got rolling, we were down 0-12, scoring 5, 4 and 1 runs in the 3rd, 4th & 5th inning.  We came within 3 at 9-12 but could not hold Riverview down.  Chris went 1-4 and scored 1 run (1 SB), Brandon 2-2 & walk and 1 run (2 SB), Andrew K was 1-1 & 2 walks, the hit was a towering shot to deep center field fence and getting a double out of it, scoring once.  Alex was 2-2 with a walk scoring 2 runs (3 SB), Nate had a walk (1 SB), Patrick (who was not feeling good and still came to the game allowing us to start the game with 9 players - Thanks!) and a single and went to third on overthrows, Andrew G had a walk and run scored, James was 1-2 & a walk and run scored (1 SB), Matt  and Zack arrived in the Third inning - starting off our 1st rally of 5 runs. Matt had a walk and single scoring our first run (2 SB), Zack had a single and walk (2 SB)

Game 2 (Sunday June 29, 2003 @ 9:00 AM)  Mt. Lebanon vs. Etna (Home - Won 15-4)
The game was a little different than the 1st game, we were the home team again but after the 2 inning we were only losing by 2 runs (1-3).  Matt started the game off with our 1st True Home Run - inside the park homer, no errors, he just out ran the play, scoring on a close play at home, giving us a 1-1 tie.  Andrew K hit a triple, while Brandon, Nate and Jeremy hitting doubles.  Our big inning (5th) in where we scored 9 runs came after 4 straight strike outs (4th - 3 batters - 3 K's and our 1st out of the 5th) where ever body scored but Matt and Andrew G who drove in the winning 2 runs with a solid single up the middle.  We 10'd run Etna (actual 11).  Jeremy was the Player of the Game.  He solidified it with a double in the 5th and being the final run of the game.  There are others who had a superior game.....Andrew G, while catching, throwing out two runners at 2nd base, one trying to steal (Zack making the tag) and another trying to advance on a throw to home (James making the tag) and one at third (Brandon making the tag).
