The Institute



The institute will consist of an intensive five-day residential program with an innovative curriculum designed to:

  • Teach participants about the diversity of womens historical and contemporary participation in politics and policymaking
  • Connect participants with womenleaders from diverse backgrounds who make a difference in Cass and Clay counties and the surrounding areas
  • Cultivate participantsEleadership skills
  • Help participants work together to build the concrete skills necessary for leadership in a pluralistic society
  • Help participants develop and implement projects that address needs of the diverse communities of Cass and Clay counties and the surrounding areas.

    To meet these objectives, our curriculum will include the following:
