The weather was horrible! The driving was dreadful! But the atmosphere inside the building was JUST RIGHT!
The Jr Red-Maroon blasted goals early and often and won the shoot out contest! Blue-Gold replied with authourity and won the rest of the skills challenges! Just like their team-mates on the "A" squad last week, the Red-Maroon squad rallied and defeated Blue-Gold 6-5 in a very fast-paced, EXCITING game! Adrian Lum was the Mover and Shaker with FOUR assists!

It was now time for the Sr "B" players to take the floor!Red-Maroon tried hard, winning two of the five events (Relay, Long Shot) but couldn't overtake Blue-Gold who won the other three events! Congrats to Andrew Stirk who got a Hat-Trick during the one on one shootout!
The much anticipated game lived up to its billing! It was end to end thrills and spills! Blue-Gold dug down deep and took the contest 5-3! Travis Wall was the Sr Mover and Shaker with THREE assists! Other Red-Maroon point-getters included:

The Jr "A" squads kicked off the evening with a fabulous skills competition. The Blue-Gold team defeated the Red-Maroon team, winning three of the five events (Shoot out, Target shooting and Rapid fire-pairs) The Red -Maroon proved to be stiff competition winning the Ball carry relay and the Long accuracy shot.
The Red-Maroon squad may have lost the skills competition part of the evening but they settled the score during the subsequent game as they defeated Blue-Gold 10-4!
Special congratulations go out to Cory Tahk, Lee McEachern and Tyler Bell on scoring their first goals of the season! James Gilbert got his first point of the season as he assisted on one goal!
Clayton Wannamaker was the Jr Mover and Shaker as he potted an incredible FOUR goals and TWO assists!

The evening was just beginning as the Sr "A" squads took the floor. In another close competition, the Red-Maroon squad won the competion by winning three of the five events (Target shooting, Ball carry relay and Long accuracy shot). The Blue-Gold squad made it close, winning the Shoot out and Rapid fire-pairs.
The Blue-Gold squad lost the skills competition but roared back to exact their revenge in a very close game as they defeated Red-Maroon 5-4!
