My name is Juanita Smith. I live in the Ontario/Rancho Cucamonga area of Southern California. I am a proud, single mother of 3 adult children – LaNita, Marlena and Deric. I am also the proud grandmother of 2 ½ grandsons – Donald Jr., Deric Jr. and Elijah (to be born in Dec).

My background consist of 30 years + in sales and business ownership. I have a degree in Custom Tailoring, is a California Licensed Real Estate Agent and am certified in Marketing and Sales.

As a single mother, I have always found myself involved in some sort of sales to supplement my income. My goal was to make sure my children always had what they needed, when they needed it. I am proud to say that I succeeded at that goal.

Now that both my daughters have accomplished their goals of achieving their Bachelors and Masters Degrees, and is now working on PhD’s (my son is working on something), it’s my turn to accomplish my next goal. I achieved my goal as a Real Estate Agent (a long time desire). I now find that even though I love the Real Estate business, it is impossible to do it on a part time basis successfully and work a full time job.

As a Sales Consultant on my full time job, I work with schools where I am commissioned with a small base. Because schools are out in the summer, my commission goes down to almost nothing at that time and I am at the mercy of my base pay. So ----I still need to supplement my income My supplement was supposed to be in Real Estate.

I joined PPL 15 months ago. I took a year to check it out and see what it was all about. WOW!!! What a program. After attending the Las Vegas Summit for the second time – I got the kick I needed. I find myself asking everybody I see about PPL. I do see it as my vehicle to independence along with Real Estate.

After 14 months as an Associate, I NOW have a PPL goal. I’m going to the top! I’m going to make it to “Executive Director” and above. I will do it. Since the Las Vegas Summit almost one month ago, I’ve gone from Associate to Senior Associate and very close to manager. Watch out – I’m on my way to the top and I’ll see YOU there!
