The Centicore (also known as the Yale) is a four legged beast
with two long straight horns (about 2 foot in length) that are extremely sharp.
It uses these horns much like spears. The Centicore is horse like in
appearance but with a chest of a lion and ears that grow in its mouth.
The Centicore horns can move and usually has only one facing forward
the other is laid across its back.
When it fights, it keeps one horn pointed backward, so that if the horn
it is fighting with is damaged it can bring the other to the front.
The Centicore is the size of a horse, but has the tail of an elephant
and the jaws of a boar, and is black. The basilisk is the enemy of
the Centicore, and if it finds the Centicore asleep it stings it between
the eyes, causing its eyes to swell until they burst.
