Ratings Page Abbreviations - Hitters
Player Info
POS - Player's Primary Fielding Position Name - Player's Name Batting Ratings and Modifiers CH - Contact Hitting. Used to determine the player's ability to make contact with the ball. PH - Power Hitting. Used to determine how hard a player hits the ball. SP - Speed. A player's running speed. Factored into both base running and defense. GF - Groundball to Flyball Ratio. 50 is even. The higher above 50, the more likely a hitter is to hit the ball on the ground. Below 50, to hit it in the air. PL - Pull vs. hit the other way. 50 is even. Above 50 is more likely to pull the ball, below, more likely to hit the ball the other way. vL - Vs. Left-handed pitcher. Above 50 is more likely to hit lefties better than righties. Hm - Home vs. Away. Above 50 plays better at home, below better on the road. Sc - Modifier with runners in scoring position. The higher the number, the better they hit with runners on 2nd and/or 3rd base. CL - Modifier for Close and Late game situations. How well a hitter does in close games in late innings.
Personal Data
Age - The player's age. May change midseason if the player's birthday is in April thru September. Exp - Years of experience in the league. B - Batting hand. L-Left, R-Right, S-Switch hitter. Slot - Which roster the player is on.
Fielding
FA - Fielding Ability. The higher the number, the better the player is at their primary defensive position. AS - Arm Strength. How hard they throw the ball on defense. Qualified Positions - Other positions the player can play, with the FA for each position.

Pitching Ratings and Modifiers
AS - Arm Strength. How hard the pitcher throws the ball. EN - Endurance. The higher the number, the more pitches a pitcher can throw. 55+ indicates a starter, where 54 and below indicates a reliever. CO - Control. How accurately the pitcher can hit his spots. HR - Hold Runners. A pitcher's ability to hold runners close at the bases (to minimize steals). GF - Groundball vs. Flyball - 50 is even. Above 50 indicates a pitcher is more likely to give up groundballs, below 50, flyballs. vsL - Vs. Left. Above 50 means the pitcher is better against left-handed batters. Hm - Home vs. Away. FB - Fastball CU - Changeup SI - Sinker. Also known as a Forkball. SL - Slider. CB - Curveball. SC - Screwball. KN - Knuckleball.

Avg - Batting Average. Computed as Hits / At-Bats. G - Games Played. AB - At-Bats. R - Runs Scored. H - Hits. 2B - Doubles. 3B - Triples. HR - Home Runs. RBI - Runs Batted In. BB - Walks. SO - Strikeouts. RC - Runs Created. I'm still researching how this is calculated. OBP - On-Base Percentage. Calculated as (Hits + BB's + HBP) / Plate Appearances. SLG - Slugging Percentage. Calculated as Total Bases / At-Bats. SB - Stolen Bases. CS - Caught Stealing. GDP - Grounded in Double Play. vs.L - Batting Average vs. Left-handed pitchers. vs.R - Batting Average vs. Right-handed pitchers. E - Errors. Pct - Fielding Percentage. Calculated as (Total Chances - Errors) / Total Chances.

W - Wins. L - Losses. Pct - Winning Percentage. ERA - Earned Run Average. A number that shows how many earned runs the pitcher gives up per 9 innings. IP - Innings Pitched. H - Hits given up. HR - Home Runs given up. BB - Walks given up. SO - Batters struck out. OAvg - Opponents batting average against the pitcher. OSlg - Opponents slugging percentage against the pitcher. G - Games pitched. GS - Games pitched as a starter. QS - Quality Starts. Defined as at least 6 innings with 3 or less earned runs. CG - Complete Games. IR - Inherited Runners (relievers only). IRS - Inherited Runners Scored. How many Inherited runners eventually scored. Sv - Save. Defined as finishing a game with the lead when the lead was 3 or fewer runs at the time the reliever was brought into the game. Hld - Hold. Defined as a performance when a reliever maintains a lead while in the game. LHB - Batting Average that left-handed batters have against the pitcher. RHB - Batting Average that right-handed batters have against the pitcher.
