ABOUT THIS LAYOUT

This iframes layout features everyone's favorite part-time florists, part-time assassins, the boyz of Weiss Kreuz. Too blue for you? Mouse over the pictures above. ^_^ I scanned the pics in from my WK manga.

I consider this layout to be fairly advanced because the main frame requires about a million div layers to place all teh rollovers, the graphics, and the iframes exactly. HOWEVER, I have made it as easy as possible for you to edit: you don't have to touch the main frame at all. All your links and content go into easy pages that show up in the iframes, so even a relative beginner ought to be able to get this thing up and working.

FONT NOTES

The font I used for the title graphic is a lovely Art Deco-y font called Ironick Normal, which can be downloaded from 1001fonts.com, here. The header text and the link are in Redensek, but will show up in Arial if you don't have Redensek installed. You can also download Redensek from 1001fonts.com, here.

INSTALLING THIS LAYOUT

To install this layout, download the zip file. Edit the following files:

  1. index.html: change the title to the title of your site.
  2. title.jpg: if you want to change the title on the main page, just edit title.jpg in your favorite graphics program. The font is Ironick Normal, and I gave you the link to download it up above.
  3. blank.html: if you can't stand the blueness surrounding the main frame, change the color in the <body> tag in blank.html.
  4. sidebar.html: edit this to include your own content. The sidebar.html file shows up in the iframe over to the left.
  5. links.html: Edit this to include however many links you have on your site. Because of the tininess of the font, you can put in quite a few, but the frame won't take more than one line of text, so you cna't really put descriptions in here. Everything in this file shows up in one line under the WK boyz' pictures.
  6. newlink.html: Copy this file as many times as you want and rename it to fit your link filenames.
  7. content.html: Edit this file to include the content that will show up on your main page, and put your name and email address into the credits line at the very bottom.

Just remember to enclose all your text in paragraph tags, like I have done. On the content pages, <p class="head1">HEADER TEXT</p> will format the headers and <p>TEXT</p> formats regular text. In sidebar.html, <p class="head2">HEADER TEXT</p> formats the headers and <p class="sidebar">text</p> formats the regular text.
