FOREIGN MISSIONS DEPARTMENT
Great Commission Ministries International (GCMI) is an organization that is committed to both home and foreign missions. The ministry has led successful missions in every inhabited island of the Bahamas over the years. Our Foreign Missions Department has established national offices in Kenya, Bangladesh and India and has organized various ministries in these countries, including orphanages, food banks and emergency shelters. Numerous churches have been planted in the above-mentioned countries. GCMI has also ministered in Cuba, the Dominican Republic and the Turks and Caicos Islands. The major goal of the Foreign Missions Department, which overseas 119 churches, 7 elementary schools and various outreach ministries, is to establish Youth Recreational Centres and Vocational and Technical Schools in Asia, Africa and the Caribbean.
