What Can You Do?

Write Letters to Your local Newspapers.

Write Letters to Other Newspapers in your state.

Write Letters to Major US Newspapers.

Write to your Secretary of State stating you are against electronic voting and want to have paper ballots restored to save money.

Write and Call your local Board of Elections protesting the purchase or use of electronic voting machines.

Make Sure that you and all of your friends are registered to vote at your CURRENT address.

Call your local Board of Elections and find out what alternatives you can pursue so as not to use the electronic voting machines. Such requesting as absentee ballots by mail.

Find out if they are alread in use, if you can vote on paper instead. Find this out BEFORE election day!

Contact other related websites, and tell them you are against electronic voting and that you think that creating a "paper receitpt" is not a good idea either!

Encourage everyone you know not to use electronic voting machines if there are other alternatives.

The key to writing letters to the editor are:
be brief
stick to the subject
make sure you have included street address and day time (work and home) phone numbers on your letters.

While it is ok to use email for letters to the editor, always Fax or snail mail your letters to congressmen, senators, etc.
