Teams Played and Results
Saturday we really looked like a team to be reckoned with. We scored 69 runs in 3 games and were clicking on all cylinders after somewhat of a slow start.
Against Showtime we jumped out to a 17-4 lead after 2 innings. Showtime never gave up and kept nudging closer. We had quit hitting and we only scored one more run. We held on to win 18-5.
Against Clark Electric we came out on fire. We scored 16 in the 1st. We never looked back ending this one early 29-5.
After sitting forever and taking the field after 11:00 we came out looking good. We were down 4-3 after the first but we scored 16 in the second to take control. The final was 22-4.
Sunday was a much different story. We came out very flat against the Bad Boys and they looked really good as they did all day on Saturday. They hit the ball very well and gloved it just as good. Not sure of the final but it wasn't pretty. This was probably the worst game we have played all year. I'm not trying to take anything away from the Bad Boys though. They played a great game. I just wish we would have brought our "A" game too.
Next came Sadler. Sadler took an early lead by having a really big first inning. We came out with 4 but they answered with 13 or 14 of their own. We edged our way back the whole game and took the lead with a big 5th inning. The next inning they came right back to recapture the lead. This was a tough game and Sadler came out on top. The final was 32-27.
