Terms and conditions of membership.

 The following provisions govern the ownership and use of JLP membership. JLP is travel and leisure organization.

 Definitions.

 ‘Affiliate’ means a third party whom JLP has entered into a contract wherein the third party provides benefits to members of JLP

 “Benefits,” means access to the various special products and services provided by the Affiliates and made available for members, which benefits shall be as set out from time to time on the website. Benefits shall include preferred rates, special offers, holiday packages, resort/hotel, rental accommodation etc.

 ‘Members’ means a person who has been accepted by JLP as a member and who has paid the membership fee. A person ceases to be a member if he or she terminates their membership or cancels their purchase of a membership.

 ‘Membership application’ means that the application form on which the applicant makes application to be accepted as a member of JLP.

 ‘Membership fee’ means the payment of ₤99.99, (ninety nine pounds and ninety nine pence.) by an applicant who has been accepted by JLP.

1. An application to become a member of JLP can only be made through the JLP website.

2. Members must be 16 years of age or older. Anyone found to have an account under this age may have their account deleted.

3. JLP is entitled to refuse any membership application at its sole discretion.

4. Membership in JLP becomes effective when the membership application is accepted by JLP and the applicant has paid the membership fee.

5. Upon acceptance of the membership application and payment of the membership fee, a membership card will be issued to the member.

6. JLP has contracted with various affiliates to provide benefits to members; such benefits may change from time to time.

7. The purchase by the member of specific products or services is subject to availability at any given time and is subject to normal policies and procedures of the affiliate.

8. All communication between the member and JLP must include their password.

9. As a new member I recognize and agree that member products and services are provide through the affiliated companies and will/could be limited in number and scope during the calendar year 2005/6 on the preferred rates packages.

10. The term of membership is for 1 year and the membership fee is non-                                  refundable. Membership is personal to the member and may not be sold or transferred. Member’s heirs become the owner of a membership for the balance of the term of membership.  

11. Although members receive preferred rates ‘members only’  prices on goods and services; I understand JLP  does not claim that discount or savings will be available to me as a JLP member and that JLP is not a discount buying service. I understand that the same or similar products and services may be available to me in the same area of my residence at equivalent or lower prices that are available to me through my membership.

12. Member inquires shall be made through JLP for referral to the affiliate companies for provision of products and service. Payment for all member products and services is arranged and handled exclusively between member and the actual product or service supplier.

13. Members agree to look exclusively to the product or service supplier as regards all warranties and guarantees and claims regarding products and services purchased by member and understand and agree that JLP provides no product or service warranties or guarantees as regards products and/or services purchased by member from others.

14. If a member is a resident in the UK this contract is between member and JLP.

15. The purchase by member of specific products and/or services is subject to the policies of the provider of the products or services.

16. Member benefits are available to member and to his or her immediate family members.

17. No person other than authorized representative of JLP is authorized to make representations or furnish any information with respect to the benefits and terms of membership, and if any such information or representation is obtained by the member from unauthorized persons, such information and representations must not be relied.

    Membership entitles the member to take advantages to discounted accommodation and associated travel benefits and local affiliates etc.
