The annual College Connection, held in September, in Tulsa, is for Juniors and Seniors and their parents. This is an opportunity to learn about colleges and universities the students may be interested in attending.
Typically students have to make an appointment at a college, and then travel there if they want to have one-on-one time with admissions staff. Or they have to wait for a time when college representatives visit their high school. In that case, there is a limited amount of time available and not every student can be seen by that school's representatives.

17,000 juniors and seniors were sent an invitation for the 2004 event but even if they didn't get one, they were still welcome to attend.
