Explanation

Both the Asean logo and the picture taken at the Asean Summit with the many leaders holding hands shows cooperation between the various nations in Asia. Also, the pictures where Mr.Goh Chok Tong, our former prime minister shake hands and formerly discusses with the prime minister of Malaysia, shows that we are very willing to cooperate with out neighboring countries to ensure peace and stability in Singapore. Lastly the picture Mr.Goh Chok Tong takes with a minister in Japan indicates that our ties with Japan are rather good as both men where smiling while having the discussion. The tone in the pictures are unbiased as the people in them were really together. The purpose of taking these pictures is to let citizens in the region know that their country is cooperating well with the others thus ensuring them that there will not be any war coming. It also tells the people the importance of cooperation therefore promoting this value in the younger generation who will eventually lead the country.
