I
just paid $85 in San Francisco for this Dutch import of a Gabriella Cenovia CD
re-issue of a 1983 out-of-print vinyl version of "Monde Meuniere" on
Balloon Sex Records. It's these really
difficult études for a modified Mesko tiple, and on some tracks she's backed by
five disabled children trying to play one Farfisa organ at the same time. And the best part is, it's designed to sound
like a skipping record, and at one point the skip lasts 19 minutes. It's awesome.
