6.11.23: mobi`bathroom/foundation
. the bathroom`foundation is made by extending the trailer frame;
-- bolting a pair of bed`frame L-irons onto it
. a frame of 2x4's are screwed around the L-irons
and also bolted into the fridge shell that is the main compartment
above the wheels
. on top of the 2x4 frame is screwed a sheet of 3/4'' plywood
. finally, for an easy-clean surface, it use`s
the inner.box or compartment of the antique fridge
. it's laid on the foundation`s plywood, and bolted to the fridge shell
. at rest, the corners will be supported by jack stands
to prevent bathroom usage from tipping the trailer .
6.12.4: tank
balancing
. notice that tanks will be the heaviest thing on the craft,
and should be balanced around the trailer`tires
. so, it's ok that the tank is kept in the bathroom near the far end,
if the water and other heavies stay near the front end
7.5.29
. if the inner.box were pushed to one side, then the tank could be
outside the inner box,
and there would be more room for the user`s feet
. the tank would be easier to change .
6.12.4: rear.door
. with a bathroom door accessable from the outside
it's not only easier to remove the sewer`tank,
but would also keep outdoor messes from getting tracked into the
livingroom
7.4.5: raised flooring
. the innerbox has holes for bolting on 2x4 floor studs,
so the pedestal`legs can rest on the studs instead of the floor of the
innerbox,
and therefore don't need to interfere with mopping .
7.5.28:
. a problem with that is the need to keep the height as low as possible;
for the sake of modesty,
the result should look more like a vehicle than a shed on wheels .
