The Caliboy

the surfer-wannabe. he typically wears flip-flops or sandals all year round, and t-shirts with beach scenes or whatever line of clothing Hollister is carrying. the pants are usually shorts, unless he gives in to the cold weather and puts on a pair of jeans. hair is typically fluffy, almost afro-like. it is often bleached or worn in cornrows. these guys are obvious fools, because Colorado is about as far away from the beach as you can get.
Scene Kids

often confused with 'Emo Kids' (a more depressed, anti-social version of the Scene Kid), these individuals engage in a very interesting act: males and females alike wear girl's clothing. for the guys, it's a tight pair of pants with an equally tight top, usually a sweater or black t-shirt. they are known to wear faux fur and feathers as well. for both males and females, the hair is dyed black and cut in such a way that a large chunk hangs in front of one eye. for females however, a more 'fluffy' effect is achieved toward the crown of the head, and sometimes highlites are added. the Scene Girl wears the most tacky, gaudy clothing she can find, sometimes layering up to 5 different shirts she has cut apart herself. shoes are stilletos, or strange versions of high-heel boots. the Scene Kid prides himself in listening to "underground" music. they have yet to learn that just because a band is unknown doesn't mean they're actually good.
