- 8/9/00 - Hello. A new section added to the website. The News section. Well we finally have our mp3.com site up and running. Created by bassist Jason Knarr, the site contains all five songs from our debut CD. Check it out. There is a link to the site on the 16 PIECE BUCKET main page. In related news, the song 'Like That' is currently at #25 on the Cumminsville section of the Cincinnati section of the mp3.com site. In the immortal words of former actor (or current actor , if he is still doing stuff somewhere...who knows) and pop singing sensation Joey Lawrence...*WHOA!*

- 8/20/00 - Today we spent the afternoon recording. From Noon to 5:00pm we were in Sure-Tone studios recording six new songs. They sound pretty good. There are only 12 in existence! Red cover copies are hand numbered from 1-12 and each copy is autographed by the band! Get to the show early because they will go quick!

- 10/2/00 - PUNKY POWER MONSTERS OF ROCK FEST ruled! Last Saturday, Sept 30, good crowd at Top Cat's (150+ paid). Great lineup of bands (THE GOONS, THE HYPOCHONDRIACS, THE VLADIMIRS, THE LAZY AMERICAN WORKERS, CHAPTER 11, GOATSCREW, and THE MESSENGERS). Jason was late getting to the gig but GOATSCREW switched slots with us so it all went smooth. Thanks to CHAPTER 11 for the bass rig.We played 10 songs in about 20 minutes or so, including a sloppy rendition of MOTORHEAD's 'Ace of Spades'. Great night of rock and roll. We got the set on tape. If anyone wants a 16 PIECE BUCKET *Live at Top Cat's* bootleg just email us. We'll hook you up.

- 10/2/00 - We have been asked to contribute a song to a Cincinnati band Christmas song compilation CD. We will be doing a 16 PIECE rendition of *No presents for Christmas* by KING DIAMOND. For those that don't celebrate Christmas, HAPPY FESTIVUS!!!
-
- 10/23/00 - 16 PIECE BUCKET went into the studio on Sunday, October 22 (same day as the mighty Bengals destroyed the hapless Denver Broncos-Corey Dillon sets the single game rushing record with 278 yards in the process) to record our contribution to the Christmas song compilation CD that Johnny from FRANTIC ROMANTIC is putting out. We layed down the music to 'No Presents for Christmas' by King Diamond and Rich will be putting the vocals on this week. It sounds pretty cool. Look for the CD to be released in December.

- 11/19/00 - 16 PIECE BUCKET have officially finished our song for the Christmas Compilation CD being put out by Johnny from FRANTIC ROMANTIC. We recorded our version of KING DIAMOND's 'No Presents for Christmas'. It even includes a few words in the beginning of the song by Santa Claus himself! He heard about it and stopped by the studio to say a few words in the mic! AMAZING! We will have limited edition copies of our five song CD *5 and Dime* at our next show that will have a secret 6th track after the orginal five tracks. It will be called *5 and Dime +1*. I can't tell you what the secret track is but I can say KING DIAMOND originally recorded it, it is gonna appear on a Christmas compilation CD soon being put out by Johnny from FRANTIC ROMANTIC, and the title of the song mentions not getting presents for Christmas. BUT THAT IS ALL I CAN SAY!!! You'll have to just check out the CD now that I have gotten you curious about it. We will also have copies of our new Live bootleg CD. Recorded Saturday, Sept 30, at the Top Cat's Punky Power Monsters of Rock Fest, this CD contains the 5 songs from our debut CD, 4 new songs, and one cover song and is only 20 minutes long. Again, I can't tell you what the cover song is but I can say the group that does it originally rhymes with BOTORSPEAD and the song title rhymes with 'Face of Jades'. I HAVE SAID TOO MUCH!!!

- 5/22/01 Wow. It's been a long time since we updated this section. The biggest news is that 16 PIECE BUCKEt is now in Mach 2 phase. Jason Knarr has left the band to concentrate on his new band JACK ASS. Our new bassist is Casey McKenna of the band MAELSTROM. Catch Casey in MAELSTROM if you can because they are a killer band. Look for a MAELSTROM/16 PIECE BUCKET show soon. Maybe on Casey's birthday so he can just jam all night long. We will be writing some new songs soon (since we have been basically playing the same 12 songs since last fall) and probably be recording in the summer.
