Diablo: How would you describe the music you play?
H-M: Sort of a fused blend of dark hip hop with hardcore or 90's metal . I guess at the start bands like the Deftones, Hedpe Snot and Rage were pretty big influences. We are sort of playing with a darker more hardcore sound now .More in the Will Haven vien . And ofcourse Product (Editors note NZ band) are a pretty big influence on us. Im heaps into Seven (Anouther NZ band) and Neurosis too.

Matt:Like a pack of drunken four year olds with knives, actually most of our audience are drunken four year olds.

Diablo: So you just recorded a Demo , how was the experiance ?

H-M: It was great we were real rushed to get it done before Matt had to go home for the summer. So we just borrowed some gear and in about 2 days just went down and layed the fucker.

Matt: Pretty intense because of the time limit, but over all, very worth while. The gat and bass on the demo were alot fatter then we expected, which really went off and as a result have kind of tipped us in the direction of the more darker approach we are involved in at the moment. It really made me reconsider the vocal side of things, which have evolved because of the demo, and gave us a new drive, "new evil change new evil".

H-M: I think it turned out good considering, of course as soon as we had it recorded we decided we were going to change direction.

Diablo: How would you describe DYAID in 3 words?

H-M: Dark , Chunky, Dynamic.

Matt: Chainsaw, kitten, sledgehammer

H-M: oh yeah and sleazy, stoned , horndogs

Diablo:You only get 3,  So I have heard a rumour about Will Haven coming to NZ to play with you, can you elaborate on
that ?

H-M: Not to much we have emailed with Jeff from the band , well Matt has actually . I really always wanted to play with Elvis dead or alive ...

Matt: Yeah I have had quite a bit of correspondance with jeff (Will haven Guitarist) who has shown a considerable intrest in us. Which is an amazing confidence boost to know that one of our favourite bands is showing any intrest in us at all let alone offering us a support gig!! Will haven are now awaiting tour details from their label (Revelation) and the formalities will then
commence , we hope, resulting in one of the heaviest concerts to grace these shores in a long long time.

Diablo: Any last words?

H-M: Soul knows Im capible of evil ...

H-M: You cant say that it makes my arse look big ...
