*this section used to be on the punk page...but i only did that kuz they were at the time touring w/MxPx and that put the thought into my stupid head that they were punk rawkers..but then i finaly realized that...a punk band doesnt have any trumpet players er anything l;ike 'at...so i realized that my assumption that the Hippos were punk was wrong...so this is where they belong...thanx fer your time...~the really stupid girl

They opened for MxPx back in april and may they went all over the country..and ill bet it was swell, eh? Kool, so check em out! theyre swell, ive heard their stuff!
