It all started back in 98. I was just sharin Guiness with my freind Tony. We were playin sk8 or die on the NES and listin to youth brigade. The radio waz playin the nintendo waz singin. When two knocks sounded on the door of Tony's apartment. In walked Seth which had just moved from Colorado and Karl, who I knew from our last band, Outta Luck,which was with Anson also. They said they were tryin to start a ska band and asked if I'd sing. Since ska and punk is my life I started writing lyrics. I wrote a song called Skank City devils, and the music fit perfect. It was Anson on trombone, Seth on Guitar, Karl on bass, and Kenny(who I knew from high school) on drums. We also shortly added Johnny on trumpet, but he went to jail for unpaid traffic tickets. The people in Canyon have our expressed gratitude for helping bail him out at the Stomping Ground show. He moved to Portland shortly after. So we started playin shows with Pow Pow Pow, Flat Planet, and many others that came through Amarillo. This past year we added my old middle school buddy Lucas on trumpet. In a town where hardcore was the norm, it took a lot of work to gain recognition.
