If you think that you've seen the final demise of Roller Derby, you're happily mistaken. Roller Derby has been alive all along, but was somewhat shadowed by the success of the WSL's Roller Jam. While Roller Derby does not currently air on television, negotiations are currently underway concerning airtime. Under the American Roller Derby League (owned by Tim Patten), the Derby is very much in operation and is preparing for a summer tournament beginning May 19. There are currently 4 main teams in the ARDL (their logos are pictured below), and new teams are being recruited. The Turbos currently have 3 well known skaters on their roster: Brian Gallagher, Mark D'Amato, and Patsy Delgado. Other skaters who have shown interest in the ARDL include Sean Davidson, Mark Weber, Gina Lombardo, and Vicky McEwin.

The Brian Gallagher promo below and the team logos above were sent to me by Tim Patten himself. He also sent me the link on the main page. I send my thanks out to him.
