- this wrath
Again the face smiles and we're left at an impasse
As the trees stretch out above us and the ground seems to carry on, infinitely.
Never to return, with no idea of how we got here in the first place.
Is this a blank now? and is the cure worth the pain?
The pen won't move until we've gone further down.
The pen won't move until the other hand has dropped, and is that what was hoped for?
Dropping off seems to keep more intact and keep us on a more destructive path.
This is where the roots grow and spread for miles at a time.
- carved from stone
Persistent and steadfast and ingrained.
Such a beautiful thing to carry from such an early age.
And held, "as high as a horses bridle", and never forgotten.
But known and breathed and the sleepless nights were worth it
For the knowledge and realization that these were, in fact, the times.
And so unfulfilled for you to never ascend.
As if this truly were the end.
And as frightened as I was so am I aware, and full.
Still reticent to believe but easy to please.
As the mouth keeps explaining and analyzing the worst,
The subtlety escapes the faithful mind but is not lost on me.
So ascend as I said before and prove this wrong.
Those mornings held true but so far from what was said by you.
These scrawls of a madman prove nothing.
- neither option
Embrace this falling.
Never ending, the parchment tears at the slightest touch,
And days stretch to months more easily than you could imagine.
And this continues longer than you could ever believe, until the end, closer than you could see.
As the signs were clear in front of everyone.
We found the true end here and it was in between.
We were wrong again.
Just out of sight.
And still it comes down, and still it falls.
No end, no change.
We are left to this sky.
- head of vecna
Place this and perceive, fulfilled this need crossed this line.
Take this and live, there is no more to regret.
I can see the door, and the birds are more clear than ever.
No failing, no falling, no apprehension.
So much more, so much clearer, and the world has felt these feet and will again.
These miles are nothing.
Wearing thin carries very little weight.
See to it that you are with me, purposeful and steadfast, new and unflinching.
Take this and live and more.
- this optimism
Breathe in, close your eyes.
This is a safe place, and easy to be alive.
Held to higher standards and led along.
The greater the capacity, the greater the reward.
And the view into the infinite,
The touch of always that comes to us all in time, or all at once.
Believe me this time, but don't be afraid anymore.
Breathe in, lay back.
As dark as we are, the change is bright and forever, and on.
Put it all together, we are more and complete.
There is more to this story.
Breathe in, we are more.
Dissolve this and still we move, the change is clear and welcome, and I'm going home.
