Wakka Tells Yuna

Wakka poked his head out of his room, when he heard Lulu call to him. What’s making her grin like that? And what sort of news does she have, I wonder? Wakka shook his head, chuckling. With Lu, it could be anything.

“What’s with the grin,” he asked?

Lulu smirked.

“Oh, so now she’s smirking,” Wakka laughed, “what’s going on, ya?”

“Well you know that little concern you have,” Lulu smiled, “with Yuna finding out about your crush on a certain someone?”

Wakka blushed, “yeah, what about it?”

Lulu walked over to Wakka, “well I happen to know for a fact that she wouldn’t mind.”

“And how do you know this,” Wakka asked, siting down?

“Well for one, Yuna’s dating someone, and it happens to be another girl.”

Wakka blinked, once, twice, three times, before what Lulu said sunk in, “she’s a lesbian?”

Lulu laughed, “what is that so hard to believe?”

“Well . . . not really I guess. I’m just surprised. That’s all.”

Lulu nodded, “so you can tell her about how you felt about Tidus. Get it off your chest, I know it’s been bugging you.”

Wakka nodded. It had been bugging him. “I guess I can tell her. Say . . . who’s Yuna dating?”

Lulu smirked, “Rikku.”

“...WHAT?”

“Haha,” Lulu laughed, “don’t look so horrified. They’re not actual cousins.”

“They’re not?”

“No. Yuna real mom died, then Braska married Rikku’s aunt.”

“Oh . . . then that’s cool,” Wakka ran a hand through his hair, glad that his friend and ‘sister’ Yuna had found someone to be happy with. He only wished he could find someone. But he feared nobody could take Tidus’s place. Even though he and Tidus had never been together.

Shiva looked at Tidus, concern on her face. “Are you okay,” she asked the boy, as he woke up?

Tidus jumped, looking around in confusion. “What? Where am I?”

Shiva smiled, “you’re on the Farplane.”

Tidus nodded, feeling his pulse, “I’m alive,” he questioned?

Shiva nodded, “yes.”

“Why. I died, or disappeared after Sin was killed.”

“We felt like it wasn’t fair to you and your friends. You did so much to help and save Spira, so we brought you back.”

“So, I’m here for good,” Tidus asked?

“Yes, until you die.”

“Okay,” Tidus stood up, gasping in pain.

“Yeah, your body still in shock. It’ll get better soon.”

“She’s telling the truth,” a deep male voice spoke. Tidus looked behind him and blinked in surprise.

“Auron,” he questioned?

Auron laughed, “yes it’s me.”

“Your scar’s gone . . . and . . . ”

“Yeah, they healed me when they brought me back.”

“When did they bring you back?”

“Right after we brought you back,” Shiva told him, “he woke up sooner, so he’s already used to moving around.”

“Oh!” Tidus smiled.

Shiva pointed to two beds, “why don’t you two rest up, and I’ll see about finding you something to eat.”

Auron and Tidus nodded, going to the beds, and sitting down.

“How do you feel,” Baralai asked, looking at Gippal?

Gippal smiled, “better, thanks.”

Baralai smiled, pulling the man into a tender hug.

“Come on,” Baralai took Gippal’s hand, “let’s go see about getting something to eat.”

“Um,” Wakka walked into Yuna’s hut, looking around for the brown-haired girl, “Yuna,” he called.

Yuna poked her head out of her room, seeing Wakka she smiled, “what’s up?”

“I have something I want to tell ya.”

“Oh,” Yuna walked out of her room, and motioned to her couch, “have a seat.”

Wakka nodded, and he and Yuna set down.

“What’s on your mind?”

“Well this is something I’ve been really wanting to tell you, but I was afraid to, because it might make you hate. But Lu said I should, because you wouldn’t mind.”

Yuna raised her eyebrow in shock, “Wakka I’d never hate you. No matter what.”

“Good. It’s just that . . . ” Wakka blushed, looking away.

Yuna was throughly confused. “What Wakka?”

“You see Yuna, I had a crush on . . . Tidus . . . I’m gay.”

“...Oh!”

“Do you hate me?”

Yuna smiled, “I said I would never hate you.”

“I’m happy. So you and Tidus were never . . . ”

Yuna shrugged, “no not really. I never really liked him like that . . . I um . . . ”

Wakka grinned, “I already know about Rikku.”

“Lulu sure has a big mouth.”

“Yes she does, but I’m glad she told me. Because if she hadn’t I might have never got the guts to tell you how I felt about Tidus.”

Yuna grinned, hugging Wakka. “I’m glad you told me.”

Tidus looked at Auron, “so where are you headed?”

Auron shrugged, “not sure. Maybe Besaid to see Yuna and the others. You?”

“I guess Besaid as well.” It’ll be nice to see Yuna . . . and Wakka. I really miss him . . . them.

“We can travel together,” Auron said.

“Of course. You know that people are going to freak out when they see us.”

Auron smirked, “I know.”

Tidus rolled his eyes, “you have a weird since of humor. You can’t wait to freak people out.”

“So,” Auron and Tidus looked at each other and started to laugh.

“They’re adjusting just fine,” Shiva said, sounding relived.

“Seems so.” Ifrit said, watching the two men talk and laugh.

“I wonder how others will act, when they see them,” Shiva spoke out loud.

“I think they’ll be overjoyed,” Ifrit said, smiling.

“I surely hope so.” Shiva stood up and the two Fayth made they way over to the men.
