Ding Dong the Witch is Dead

"Ding dong, the witch is dead, the witch is dead, ding dong, the wicked witch is dead..." Zell happily sang.

He was so into his song that he didn't hear someone enter his dorm room, but he did hear the light, surprised gasp behind him. The short blond jumped, nearly falling off his couch; he looked up, seeing as startled looking Seifer.

Zell blinked, turning down his TV. "What?" he asked, wondering why Seifer was giving him that look.

Seifer blinked, walking over to Zell, "Zell, I can't believe I'm saying this, but you shouldn't be so insensitive."

"Huh?" Zell was totally confused; how was he being insensitive? All he'd been doing was singing along with the TV. Was it too soon to sing? Rinoa had only been dead for less then a day. Maybe that was it.

"I really don't understand what you mean, Seifer." Zell said, his voice clearly confused. "All I was doing was watching 'The Wizard of Oz.'"

"What?" Seifer looked at the muted TV and saw that Zell was telling the truth. The night blinked, then got a sheepish look on his face.

"Sorry, Zell. I don't know what I was thinking."

'No, I know what I was thinking. I thought he was singing about her...' Seifer shook his head, clearing his thoughts; Zell would never do something like that.

"That's okay; you're probably still upset about... " Zell waved his hand around, "you know."

Seifer had after all been with Rinoa for a short time before she got with Squall.

"Hmm? Upset?" Seifer nodded, "y-yeah, that's it."

Seifer set down next to Zell, pulling the fighter into his arms. "How are you feeling?" he asked quietly. He knew the fighter was really shaken up by everything. Rinoa was never anyones best friend, but she still was a friend and the killer was in Garden.

Zell blinked, burying his head against Seifer's chest. "I'm really scared," he murmured.

It took a few moments before Seifer realized Zell was quietly crying.

"Oh, Zell," Seifer squeezed his eyes shut, holding the teen tighter to his chest; he gently ran his hands up and down his lover's back.

"I'll protect you." he whispered.

"Selphie," Quistis whispered, walking into the Quad where she'd seen her girlfriend enter.

The blond looked around, but did not see anyone. She sighed, looking up.

'This isn't very safe; we're not supposed to be wondering around by ourselves. Selphie, where are you?'

The blue magic user walked around, looking everywhere her girlfriend could be hiding. Quiet sobs reached her ears.

"Selphie?" She said, rushing toward the sounds. Sure enough there was Selphie, sitting behind a large prop that had been used in the Christmas play.

The ninja looked up when she heard someone walking up to her. She raised an eyebrow, wiping her wet eyes. Quistis looked concerned and mad. That was an odd combination of emotions.

"What?" the brown haired girl asked, her voice a little shaky.

Her hands on her hips, Quistis frowned. The way she looked gave Selphie the expression of an angry teacher and the girl had to remind herself that Quistis was an angry teacher.

"Selphie Anne Tilmitt... you scared me to death." Quistis half heartily scolded, not having it in her to be totally mad; Selphie looked so sad. "Don't run off on your own again, please." she said, her voice changing from angry to a pleading sound.

"I-I'm sorry, Quisty." Selphie said, standing up.

Quistis sighed, "that's okay. Are you okay?" she asked, walking over to the girl.

"I've been better, but I'll live I suppose."

"You'd better!" Quistis said, handing Selphie her ring.

"You know, you're not a evil person for just slapping her; do you know how many times I've wanted to strangle that girl? Some times she could be sooo annoying."

"That's true, but we shouldn't talk ill of the dead."

"I know that, I just wanted to let you know you're not the only one to ever want to slap her."

"Thanks, Quisty," Selphie leaned over, hugging the taller girl. Both blushed, but smiled.

---

"Aww, isn't that sweet? Sickinly sweet, but sweet." The killer laughed. From where he was, he could clearly see two girls hugging near the stage in the quad.

He looked down at his little notebook where he kept the names of all his possible victims.

There at the top was the name Rinoa Heartily but it was crossed off. Under her name were other names, including the two names of the girls he was watching.

"Lucky for you, I'm in the mood for a man." The killer cackled, turning the page.

'Squall Lionheart...' he read, shaking his head. 'Nah, not him... yet...'

'Zell...' he started to read... 'Ahh, Zell, he's the one I was watching the other day at the café'

"Hmm, nope, I don't feel like a blond." The killer sighed. He wanted the perfect victim, but he couldn't make up his mind on who he wanted to get next.

"I guess it won't kill me to take a vacation..." the killer snickered. "Some quiet and relaxation might help me make up my mind."

So it was with that said the killer decided to take a few weeks off.

"Popsicle sticks."

"Popsicle sticks, check."

"Glue."

"Glue, check."

"Glitter."

"Glitter, check."

Edna looked at the group of children and the group of teens that had decided to visit out of the blue. They were currently playing together, making the women reminisce about the past.

"Miss big girl," a little girl pulled on Quistis' shirt, "help me." she held up some paper. "I want angel wings."

The blond smiled, taking the paper and some scissors . "Call me Quisty." she said, knowing that name was easier for the smaller children to say.

"What's that?"

Poke.

Zell glanced down at the little boy who kept poking his cheek. Seifer chuckled, watching as his boyfriend tried to explain what a tattoo was.

"Ouchy," the boy said, his eyes wide.

Zell laughed, "yes, it was very ouchy." He touched his cheek, remembering when he'd gotten the tribal tattoo.

"Up. Up."

Squall blinked, looking down at a girl of about three. "Excuse me?"

Irvine laughed. "She's three years old and she wants you to hold her."

"Me?" Squall pointed to himself. Why would a kid want him of all people to hold them?

"Yes you, leather pants." Irvine smiled. Being around the children helped the cowboy forget about his troubles; he was able to smile, laugh and joke. He had hoped this would have the same effect on his friends, especially Squall; that's why he suggested they visit the orphanage.

"What if I hurt her?" Squall asked, looking down at the girl, who was holding her hands up; she really wanted Squall to hold her.

"Squall, she's not going to break if you touch her," Zell said. Everyone else nodded.

"Uhhh, okay, I guess," Squall mumbled, still not sure about this. He'd never been around kids much.

Bending down, he picked up the girl, placing her in his lap. The girl smiled brightly, hugging Squall as if he was her father or something.

Squall blinked, patting the girl on the hand, not sure what he should do. "What's her name?" he asked, looking over at Edna.

"Her name is Eiko." Edna said, looking amused by Squall's reaction to the girl.

"Eiko?"

The baby snuggled against Squall's chest, yawning. Squall looked down at her and couldn't help the small smile that graced his lips.

Edna nodded, "her parents didn't want her," the women sighed, frowning. "I don't understand how people can just give up their children. I would understand if they didn't have the means to take care of her, but they just got tired of the responsibility of taking care of her."

"That's awful." Selphie looked over at Eiko and Squall; the girl had fallen asleep. "She's a just a baby; how can someone not want her?"

"Humans are cruel," Shiva spoke up, after being quiet for a long time. The GF just hadn't been in a talking mood; seeing how upset her host and his friends were.

Squall nodded, agreeing with Selphie and Shiva.

---

The sounds of loving making filled the air; moans and groans came often.

"Ohh, that feels so good; h-harder..."

A loud gasp sounded, "Oh my God; yes, like that. Don't stop."

The same voice gasped again, feeling fingers at his entrance, "wait, stop! Do you have lube?"

Squall felt so embarrassed; how'd it get to this so fast? "Irvine... do we really have to do this?" he asked, closing his eyes.

Irvine chuckled, "oh, come on, Squally. It won't kill you to open your eyes and watch the movie."

"Oh... oh... oh..."

Squall blushed, covering his face as the moans got louder and louder. Shiva giggled. "I for one am enjoying this."

But Shiva, it's not your body that's reacting to these sounds. What if Irvine notices?'

"Oh, it's a little too late for that, and besides I'm sure Irvine's in the same boat you're in."

Squall blushed, glancing over at Irvine, who was giving him an amused look.

"You're so adorable when your flustered."

Squall turned redder, "I am not." he protested, crossing his legs, trying to hide the evidence that he was turned on.

"Yes you are," Irvine said, clicking off the TV. "I won't make you watch, if you don't want to." he said.

The teen stood up, "I need to go take a shower..." he mumbled.

"Wait, no, don't go." Squall grabbed Irvine's hand, giving it a tug.

The cowboy gasped, next thing he knew he was sitting in a flushed Squall's lap.

Blinking, Irvine looked at Squall.

"Irvine," Squall shifted their bodies so they were more comfortable. This ended up with the cowboy straddling him, "I love you."

Before Irvine could respond, Squall had crushed his lips against his.
