Why he was mad

"What did I do?" Tatsuha kept repeating that sentence as he walked back and forth in his kitchen. Ryuichi had since pulled away from the teen and taken off. This time the ex Nittle Grasper had taken Kumagoro with him, making the teen feel like they both were mad at him.

Feeling on the verge of tears, Tatsuha found his hand reaching out to grab his phone.

Not even thinking, he dialed a number.

On the third ring an agitated out of breath male answered the phone, "Do you know what time it is?"

Tatsuha blinked, looking over at his clock. His eyes went wide. Wow, he hadn't even realized it was so late.

"I'd say sorry, but then we both know I don't mean it." Tatsuha said dully.

"What do you want?" Yuki asked, his voice strangely sounding more out of breath then when he first answered the phone.

"Can I take to Shuichi?" Tatsuha asked.

Hearing a sigh, Tatsuha raised an eyebrow. "Your timing is wonderful," Yuki said sarcastically. "Shuichi get off me." Tatsuha's eyebrows went up even further when he heard a sound like a 'pop' like a kid was pulling a lollypop out of their mouth.

"Eww, no way!" Tatsuha exclaimed. "You guys were... eww."

"Grow up." Tatsuha could hear a smirk in his brother's voice.

"Hello?" Tatsuha grinned, hearing the embarrassment in Shuichi's voice. For a minute he forgot all about his problems as he imagined the looks on his brother and Shuichi's faces.

"Uh," Tatsuha cleared his throat, "sorry for interrupting... " Tatsuha started.

"Ahh... umm, t-that's okay," Shuichi's stuttered, "What did you want?"

Tatsuha blinked. What did he want?

"Ryuichi took off; I was just wondering if he went to your place." Tatsuha finally said.

"Nope, no, he isn't here. But I'll call if he show... Yuki!" Tatsuha stared at the phone, blinking.

"I'll call you if he... ohh stop that!" Shuichi gave an embarrassed giggle, "I really need to go. Ohh... Bye."

The phone went dead in Tatsuha's hand. The dark haired teen smirked. When his brother was horny nothing could get in the way of what he wanted.

"Why can't I be like that?" Tatsuha wailed to the empty room. "I want. I take... Gah!" Tatsuha groaned.

"Where did he go?" Frustrated, Tatsuha grabbed a coat from the coat rack and headed outside.

---

"What in the world do you want?" Mika roared, opening her door. She was wearing a bathrobe and it was quite obvious she was naked underneath. When she saw Tatsuha the look in her eyes softened but not by much.

Crossing her arms, the blonde stepped aside, letting the teen in.

"Sorry," Tatsuha mumbled, his teeth chattering. It was freezing outside, even with his coat.

Mika sighed, "Whatever. What do you want?"

"I've been wondering here and there looking but I can't... " Tatsuha's voice caught in his throat.

Mika uncrossed her arms, concerned. Her brother wasn't making sense. Did he hit his head harder then they thought. "Are you feeling all right?" Mika went to place a hand on Tatsuha's forehead.

Tatsuha pulled away from his sister, "I'm fine! I've looked and I've looked... " Tatsuha mumbled.

Mika frowned. "Tatsuha, you're babbling." Mika tried to touch Tatsuha's forehead again.

"You're hot." Mika said.

Tatsuha grinned, "yeah, I know. Mika don't you know it's wrong to lust for your brother?" He asked with wide eyes.

"Gah! Tatsuha I meant you're burning up!" The women yelled. These brothers of hers. Always were they causing her so much trouble.

"Oh," Tatsuha nodded, "of course that's what you meant." He grumbled. "So I'm not hot, am I?" Tatsuha pouted.

Mika rolled her eyes, "you're delirious. And you're an idiot."

---

"Ryuichi, what's with that pout?" Shuichi asked, looking at his friend, who was pouting, as he looked down at the passed body of Tatsuha. Tatsuha had passed out a few hours earlier. Mika had called Yuki and the writer came over, helping the women get the teen back home.

While they were doing that, Ryuichi showed up at Yuki's house, whining to Shuichi about something the singer couldn't quite understand.

"I'm mad... but... " Ryuichi gave a shrug, "I'm having a hard time staying mad since he's like.” He pointed at Tatsuha, "like that."

As Ryuichi was whining, Shuichi tried to calmly tell Ryuichi about his roommate and the two left for Tatsuha's apartment.

"Why are you mad?" Shuichi asked.

Ryuichi looked up, biting his lip, "Tatsuha lied." He mumbled.

"Lied?" Shuichi raised an eyebrow, "that doesn't sound like Tatsuha."

"I-I know." Ryuichi stuttered.

"What did he lie about?" Shuichi asked, in a whispered voice. From across the room, Yuki glanced over at his lover, giving the singer a look that said, "Mind your own business," but Shuichi chose to ignore that look.

Ryuichi sighed, "The car wreck." He mumbled. "I thought he had the wreck and then everything was okay; he just walked away with some sore muscles, but... I learned..."

Taking a breath, Ryuichi took a piece of paper out of his pocket. It was a hospital bill. "I know I shouldn't have opened his mail, but I was curious..."

"I see, you know he didn't really lie to you; he just didn't tell you the whole truth because he cares about you and he knew how worried it would have made you if you'd know he was out for that long." Shuichi smiled at Ryuichi.

"And it's us who lied to you. We didn't tell you when the accident happened, because we care about you as well. We hate seeing you worry."

Ryuichi thought about that. It was true that he worried too much, and if he'd known he would have went crazy with worry, but still...

"I should have known. Tatsuha's my friend. W-what would you guys have told me if... if he'd died?"

"I would never leave you." A weak, tired voice moaned.

"TATSUHA!" Everyone in the room exclaimed, even Yuki, who afterwords looked embarrassed for showing he actually cared about his brother.

"Shuichi, call Mika and let her know he's awake." Yuki instructed. "Then we're leaving. Ryuichi, you can watch over Tatsuha."

Ryuichi nodded, "y-yeah, I can." He looked at Tatsuha, who was giving him a questioning look, as if he was asking "are we okay?"

Running off, Shuichi went to call Mika. Yuki lit a cigarette, leaving the room, and Ryuichi set down next to Tatsuha.

"I'm not mad no more, na no da!" Ryuichi smiled. "Shuichi explained everything."

Tatsuha blinked. He still didn't quite know why Ryuichi was upset in the first place, having only heard Ryuichi's last part of the conversation, but was so happy that Ryuichi wasn't mad anymore.
