“So this is where we’re staying for the holidays?” Fourteen year old Oliver murmured, walking into the Tipton Hotel. His best friend, fourteen year old Miley Stewart came in after him, lugging most of the suitcases.
“Oliver! You could help,” the brunette grumbled, dropping everything on the polished floor.
Oliver glanced at the pop singer, “Oops, sorry, Miles,” he said, grabbing two of the suitcases.
“So, Sis, who paid for all of us to come up here?” Jackson asked, him and Lilly walking in after Miley and Oliver.
Jackson was Miley’s ever so annoying older brother. He was sixteen and his favorite pastime was picking on his sister and her friends.
“Aunt Dolly.” Miley said, talking about their rich aunt. Dolly knew how much Miley liked this hotel when she came here as Hannah Montana; her alter ego, so as a Christmas present she booked Miley, her brother and Miley’s friends a suite.
Lilly waltzed over to Miley, “well, next time we see her, we have to thank her! This is so cool! A unsupervised vacation in a big, fancy hotel like this.” The fourteen year old blond skateboarder walked over to the front desk, hitting a bell.
“Welcome to the Tip…” An African American man started, his eyes going wide, seeing all the children.
‘Oh no, not more kids.’ The man thought.
“…ton Hotel.”
Lilly smiled a bright smile. “Hiya! We’d like to check in.”
“A-all of you?”
“Of course,” Lilly nodded.
Miley walked over to the counter, “I’m Miley Stewart. There should be a suite for us.”
Recovering his dignity, the man smiled, “I’m Mr. Moseby. I’m the manager at this hotel.” He started to type on the computer in front of him.
“Ah, yes, I see. One suite with two rooms under the name Miley Stewart.”
“Ewhh…” Moseby made a face.
“What?” Miley asked.
“There seems to be a mistake with your suite.” The manager rubbed his chin.
“What kinda mistake?” Jackson asked.
“We double booked the suite.” The man said. He so didn’t need this right now.
“Double booked?” Oliver looked at Moseby, “when you say that, you mean…”
“Yes, another group was put in the same suite as your group. Two boys and two girls…”
“Raven in the his-house!” An African American girl exclaimed, walking into the Tipton. A younger African American boy who looked embarrassed walked in after her. Two other people trailed the two. A tall, white redheaded girl and a stocky African American boy.
“Raven, would you please hush; this is a fancy, expensive hotel.” The young boy groaned.
“Oh, hehe, sorry, little bro.” Raven grinned. “I can’t help it! I still can’t believe dad let us come.”
This group consisted of sixteen year old Raven Baxter, her fourteen year old brother Corey, and her two best friends, sixteen year old Chelsea Daniels and Eddie Thompson.
Miley grinned; she knew this loud girl. Of course she couldn’t say anything, because then she’d give away her cover.
She had met Raven at this hotel when the girl was doing something for the fashion designer she worked with.
“By any chance,” Miley started, “would that be the group we’re double booked with?”
Moseby checked his records. “Yes, you are double booked with Miss Baxter’s group.”
Moseby remembered this girl. She’d gotten the twins in a little modeling stunt.
“Mmm, well,” Miley grinned, “no big deal, right?” she looked at her friends. “It’s Christmas; the season of giving and sharing.”
“You suggesting we share a suite with people we don’t know for our whole vacation?” Jackson asked his sister.
Oliver glanced over at the other group; they didn’t seem too bad. Sharing a suite with them shouldn’t be such a bad thing, right?
“Yep.” Miley motioned everyone in closer to her. “I met Raven as Hannah Montana when I came here a while back. She’s a little loud, but okay.”
“Well, if Miley says it’s okay, then it’s okay.” Lilly grinned.
---
“Cody, just what are you doing?” Zack asked his fourteen year old twin brother.
The younger twin grinned, “Spying.”
“Spying?”
Cody was standing behind the candy counter, staring at the check-in desk. “Look at the big group of kids checking in.”
Zack’s eyes widened. People close to his age! In the hotel there was only him, Cody and London Tipton; the daughter of the man who owned the hotel. Maddie, the candy counter girl was there a lot, too, but she lived down the road.
All of Zack and Cody’s friends from school were on vacation so the twins were all alone.
“Hey, isn’t that…?” Cody eyed Raven. She looked so familiar.
“It’s Raven.” Zack grinned. “The fashion designer that had us model for her boss.”
“Let’s go say hi,” Cody said, as he started toward the large group.
---
“So, to compensate for this little mistake, I will be refunding you half the price of the suite; your two groups will split that.” Moseby said, looking at everyone.
Miley looked over at Raven and her group. They’d just been told everything. They didn’t seem to mind so much.
“That seems fair,” Corey grinned. Money! He loved money.
“Of course the money will go to the eldest in your group.” Moseby added.
“Aww, no fair.” Corey frowned.
Eddie and Jackson grinned.
Miley grumbled as her brother was handed a lot of money. Aunt Dolly had paid a lot for the suite. The Tipton hotel cost an arm and an leg.
“So is everything satisfactory?” Moseby asked.
Everyone nodded.
“Raven!” A blur of yellow ran up to Raven, glomping her. “Hi!”
Raven blinked. “Oh, hi. Zack and Cody, right?”
“Yeah, how’s the fashion biz?” Zack asked, briefly glancing behind Raven at Oliver. For some reason this made the older teen blush and glance away.
“It’s going good. Donna’s even let me design a few things.” Donna was Raven’s boss; a very famous fashion designer.
Miley smiled at Zack and Cody; she knew them as well from her last visit, but that was when she was Hannah.
“So, care to introduce us to your friends, Raven?” Chelsea asked.
“This is Zack and Cody.” Raven said, “they live here at the hotel. Their mother is a singer here.”
“Well, I’m Chelsea and that’s Eddie and Corey.” Chelsea smiled, pointing to Eddie and Corey.
“Hi.” Corey and Eddie said at the same time.
“Hi,” Cody and Zack replied.
“Well, I’m Miley and this is my annoying older brother, Jackson.” Miley put an arm around Jackson’s shoulders.
Jackson, who was known for playing for the other team looked at Cody. The young blond was really cute in his opinion. Catching himself staring, Jackson blushed; he glared at his sister, pushing her arm off his shoulders.
Cody smiled, “he doesn’t look so annoying.” he said, glancing at Jackson.
“Why, thank you, little man.” Jackson said, smirking at Miley. Miley smiled a knowing smile, smirking right back.
“I’m Lilly.” Lilly piped up when it was clear Miley and Jackson were in a middle of a glaring contest.
“And I’m Oliver.” Oliver shyly said, blushing again when Zack looked at him.
“How about we go up to our suite and unpack?” Eddie suggested.
“Need any help?” Zack asked. Cody nodded.
“Sure.” Raven smiled.
Moseby gave everyone a key to the suite. “Estaban.”
“Yes, Mr. Moseby?” A Spanish man in his early twenties walked over. His uniform showed that he was a bellhop.
“Show these customers to their suite.”
---
“The girls call the left room!” Lilly called out, coming out of said room. It was the biggest of the two rooms, but only a girl would notice a thing like that.
Raven smiled at Lilly, “glad you said it; I was just about to call it myself.”
“It’s bigger.” Lilly said.
“I know.”
“What are you talking about?” Eddie rolled his eyes. “The rooms are the same size.”
Corey nodded, sticking his head into the girls room. “Yeah, it is the same size.”
“No, actually it’s not,” Miley said.
“It’s bigger.” Chelsea added.
“Women.” six boys muttered.
Zack and Cody helped the boys get their suitcases to their room.
Zack laughed when they walked into the room. It only had two beds. Cody noticed what Zack was laughing at and joined him in snickering.
“What’s so funny…?” Corey started, noticing for the first time the two beds.
Eddie walked into the room. “Oh, hmm…” He looked at Corey. “Well, it looks like we’re sharing, Cor…”
“What?” Corey blushed.
“Well, you don’t expect me to share with Oliver or Jackson; I don’t even know them.” ‘And besides, I know you better then anyone…’
Jackson looked at Oliver, “sorry, dude, guess that means we have to share.”
“Fine, but I don’t snuggle.” Oliver grumbled, starting to unpack. He knew Jackson liked guys and wasn’t quite comfortable with the sleeping arrangements.
Jackson rolled his eyes. “And why would I want to cuddle with you?” ‘You’re cute, yes, but… I can’t see myself with one of my sister’s friends.’
Zack and Cody looked at each other. “Aw.” the both said at the same time, cracking up.
Jackson looked at Zack and Cody, “all have you know I prefer blonds.”
That shut the twins up; both blushed, busying their selves with unpacking Corey’s suitcase.
----
“Well, my brother just spilled the beans.” Miley said, walking into the girls room. She’d overheard the whole conversation.
“What do you mean?” Raven asked. She and Chelsea were sitting on their bed; they were quick to say they’d share.
Lilly and Miley took the other bed, of course.
“Well, don’t tell anyone, but Jackson’s kinda gay.” Miley whispered. “He acts like this big ladies man, but all his close friends know the truth; he didn’t tell me, I sort of found out when I caught him… well…”
“Looking at dirty pictures.” Miley blushed. “I’d never seen things like that before.”
“How’d he spill the beans?” Lilly asked.
Quickly, Miley explained.
---
‘So much for no cuddling,’ Oliver thought, turning red when in his sleep, Jackson pulled the younger teen into his arms.
Oliver blushed, trying to get out of Jackson’s arms, but found he was quite stuck.
‘Fine, so be it.’ Oliver relaxed and tried to fall asleep.
---
When Jackson opened his eyes, he saw that Oliver was in his arms.
“Whoops.” He grinned sheepishly, seeing that he was getting a glare from Oliver.
“Sorry, I slept-cuddled.” Jackson set up, stretching his arms over his head.
“It’s fine.” Oliver sighed, getting out of bed. He glanced over to the other side of the room, seeing that Eddie and Corey were still asleep.
“Honestly, Oliver, I’m not into you like that.” Jackson rubbed his eyes, trying to speed up the waking process. “But… well, can I tell you a secret?”
Oliver glanced over at Jackson. “Sure.” He said, sitting back on the bed.
“I really think Cody’s cute.” Jackson blushed. “Don’t tell anyone!”
Oliver grinned. “I won’t, but which one is Cody?”
“The smaller one; the youngest.”
“He is cute, but I…” Oliver’s eyes went wide when he realized what he’d just said. He clamped a hand over his mouth. “Ignore that; I didn’t say anything!”
“You did too! You like Cody, too?” Jackson frowned.
“No, I don’t like Cody…” Oliver blushed.
“But you said he was cute!”
‘Oh, God, how do I get myself out of this one?’ Oliver bit his lower lip.
“I-I did… but… Oh, ummm, I was going to say… I-I think Zack’s cuter. I don’t know why I’d say that.” Oliver blushed.
Jackson patted Oliver on the shoulder, “I think I do.” he whispered. “Does your heart flutter when he looks at you?”
“Y-yeah.”
“Does your skin get all hot; do you feel flustered?”
“Yes.”
“I think, well, Oliver, I think you like him.”
Oliver’s eyes went wide, “What? But then that would mean…?”
“Yeah, you like guys like me and we’re crushing on Cody and Zack.” Jackson smirked. “It’s a good thing we’re not crushing on the same twin, eh?”
“Uh… uh, I guess.” Oliver said, still not so sure about this. Him gay? Crushing on Zack? Could it really be true?
“Are you still not sure if you’re gay?” Jackson asked, seeing the look in his eyes.
“Yeah,” Oliver whispered, looking down.
The next thing Oliver knew two soft lips were on his. A shock went through his whole body and his insides burned.
Jackson pulled away from Oliver. “Now do you know?”
Blushing, Oliver nodded. He touched his tingling lips. “I know; because if I wasn’t gay, being kissed by a guy would totally sicken me out… not…”
“Turn you on?” Jackson smirked.
Oliver blushed, “hey, I was so not turned on… It just… was likable.”
“Likewise.” Jackson smiled, “but, ya know… it would be ten times better with the person we like.”
“Yeah, but they… we don’t even know if they’d be interested.”
“Oh, ho, ho, ho, they’re interested.” Jackson grinned. “Did you see how flushed they became when I said I preferred blonds?”
“Yeah.”
“So I say this Christmas I’m getting my first boyfriend. You?”
Oliver flushed, “uhh, y-yeah. Me too.”
“Us too,” two voices spoke up, teasingly.
Oliver and Jackson’s eyes went wide, turning to look at Eddie and Corey. When had they woken? How much had they heard?
“Sorry,” Eddie said, “we sorta overheard. But no worries; we know how to keep a secret.”
Jackson sighed, then smirked. “So are you two really going to get a boyfriend by Christmas?”
Corey flushed, glancing at Eddie. “Well, no because…”
Eddie wrapped an arm around Corey, “we’re kinda already going out.”
“Eddie!” Corey buried his face in his hands.
“We’ve kept it a secret, so nobody knows yet…” Eddie said, “don’t tell Raven or Chelsea.”
“We won’t.” Jackson said, “but you should. Then you wouldn’t have to be private about your feelings.”
“We know; we’re planning on telling them soon.” Corey mumbled.
“Well, you might as well get it over with.” Oliver said.
“You’re one to talk; you should tell Miley and Lilly.” Jackson said, looking at Oliver. “They know about me and they don’t care, so you have nothing to worry about.”
---
“What’s this?” Raven asked, looking at the boys. They’d asked the girls to come to the living room so they could have a meeting of some sort.
“Well, there’s something I’ve been meaning to tell you, sis, and I don’t see why I shouldn’t tell everyone else since we’ll all be living together for a while.” Corey said, looking at his sister.
“And also Oliver has something to say to his friends.” Eddie added.
“Okay, long story short: I’ve been shagging Eddie for about a month.” Corey said, looking serious; Eddie’s eyes went wide.
“WHAT?!” Raven shouted.
Corey started to laugh, “I was kidding. We’ve just been dating; no shagging.”
Raven blinked. Chelsea’s mouth dropped.
“Oh, well, then, congratulations.” Raven smiled.
“But, hurt him and I will kill you.” Raven said sweetly to Eddie. “I know you’re my best friend, but he is family. You understand.”
Eddie grinned, “yes, of course. And I won’t hurt him!”
“Oh, okay.” Raven said.
Everyone turned to look at Oliver; he gulped. How was he supposed to follow that?
“Uhh, I’ve realized I’m gay, and no before you ask Miley, I’m not dating your brother.” Oliver quickly said.
“Wow, there must be something in the water; everyone’s gay.” Miley laughed.
“Y-yeah, because I like girls!” Lilly exclaimed, blushing. “Eh, I mean… oops.”
Everyone cracked up, looking at Lilly; she looked like she wanted to die.
“So, Lilly, if you like girls, is there one girl you have a crush on?” Oliver asked.
Lilly shook her head, “not really,” she mumbled, looking down.
“Oh, but don’t you think that singer, Hannah Montana’s cute?” Jackson asked with a smirk.
“No…” Lilly glanced at Miley, “Well, I guess she is cute… but that doesn’t mean I like her like her.”
Miley grinned, flushing. Lilly thought she was cute!
Raven was eying Miley a little hardly; there was something about the brunette. ‘You know if she had blond hair… oh…’ Raven’s eyes went wide; now she got why Miley was blushing when Lilly said Hannah was cute.
“Ya know, I think… we should have a karaoke night.” Raven suddenly said.
Everyone looked at her like she was crazy.
“Where did that come from?” Eddie asked.
“I dunno, but you know how I love to sing and what’s more fun then singing karaoke?”
It was a well known fact that Raven and her friends loved to sing.
“I’m game.” Chelsea said. “But let’s ask that Zack and Cody to sing with us; also we should ask that candy girl. I saw her working when we checked in last night.”
“And London.” Raven spoke up. “She’s the daughter of the person who owns this hotel.”
“Okay! Let’s go!” Lilly started.
“Wait, shouldn’t we all get dressed?” Oliver rolled his eyes. They were all still in there pajamas.
“Oh yeah,” Lilly flushed. “hehe.”
