NEWS 1/18/06 as you may or may not have heard, the shutups are done. i guess i'm not that surprised, and i'm positive that it was probably overdue. thanks a whole ton to everyone that's helped us out in any way, shape, or form in the last 6+ years of the bands' various incarnations. at the top of the list is timebomb tom, for all his support over the years. also, thanks to lou and nancy at junk records, todd at trickknee, joel at almost good music, and sal canzonieri for helping us put records out. to everyone who ever booked a show for us, played with us, bought a record or t-shirt along the way, or gave us a place to crash...thanks, we appreciate it more than you could ever know. some of the best and most memorable times in my life came as a result of being in this band. i've been places i never thought i'd get to go, and met people that i probably never would have met through being a part of the shutups. this isn't the last you'll see or hear from any of us. as far as i know, eric is working on something. as for the rest of us, we will be continuing to play together. new band, new name, etc. we've set up a myspace page HERE , with songs available for listening and downloading. we're looking for a bass player. so if you know of any, or you are that somebody, please get ahold of us! hopefully we'll be seeing you all soon! lugs |
