TREATS FROM THE UNDERGROUND #6....
DEDFUK (10 songs) Side 1 contains four songs from LONGDREAMDEAD out of Japan. The music is really spaced out industrial Death music. The drums were chugging along, while the guitar chrunches & there's some weird sound effects in the background. The vocals stayed in the Death Metal range, but swayed a little. Side 2 is the last 6 songs from Canada's own FUCK THE FACTS. This is a one man project of skull crushing Industrial. All the instruments & vocals are done by Topon. The music is noisy Industrial Death with high & low pitched Death screams. I liked FTF better of the 2 bands, but both were quite interesting.

It is probably stuff like this that separates the men from the boys! One side features an industrial noise band from Japan which mainly keeps things to the core by experimenting with ambient noise and loops. Ottawa's FtF, on the other hand grind their noise up a notch and vary the tempo a little more than those Suzuki engineers on Side A. I have it from an inside source that should the abuse continue, the international union of drum machines is calling for a strike mandate!

A split tape i just recieved from DEDFUK records, FUCK THE FACTS is a one man band that does quite well with alot of parts, thought out songs on all 6. LONG DREAM DEAD are from TOKYO and do a cover of Jello's "Chemical Warfare" along with 3 of their own. They have a industrial metal sound.
