My Treble Charger Stories

Summersault 2000

This wasn't much of a Treble Charger experience, but it was the first time that I actually got to see them live. They played a wicked set. It was great. When they player American Psycho though, the whole place felt like it was shaking. Everyone was singing along with those zaney boys dress in their combat gear. It was the best 40 minutes at that concert.

Treble Charger's Winter Tour ~ December 9th 2000

This was such a great concert!!! It was Mia's Birthday present to me, and what a great present! I'll never forget it! Gob played, (which was wicked!), then Eve 6, and then Treble Charger. I was right up against the stage for Treble Charger. They played all my fav songs, so it was just perfect..but here's the best part...after they played their oncore, me and Mia, and my bud Shaun were all walking around, and just hangin out to see if we could meet the boys. And guess what? Waiting around after concerts can actually work sometimes...Cuz I met all of the guys from Treble Charger. It was so cool!

We first met Rosie. He came right over, (maybe it was cuz I waved at him), and said, "Are you waiting for me, or are you just waving?" . He was so nice, and he talked to us for awhile too. We felt really bad for him though, cuz he was hit with a beer bottle. We discussed that, and he was mad that it was Labatt Blue that was thrown. He thought they could have done better. haha So he signed my Wide Awake Bored cd cover, and said that he had to go do an interview about the "incident".

Then we saw Bill, and he just signed stuff for us, and then went to other people...kinda snotty, but we understood, cuz he looked tired. We waited around forever, watching Greig walk by, trying to get his attention. So we moved on to Trevor, who was already talking to people. So, we only got to kinda talk to him, but he was really really nice. He took a picture with us (below) Just when we finished talking to him, everyone who was still waiting around in the venue, was kicked out. And it was freezing outside. It was close to -35 (celcius), and we just HAD to go wait by the backstage door, cuz we really wanted to meet Greig. Holy crap...we were outside for 45 minutes, asking all of the roadies if Greig was inside. While waiting, we met Theo, and Craig (again), and we saw Bill...

anyways, finally, these 2 girls walked outside, and said to us, "Do you want our autographs?" and started laughing, as we're all shaking, cuz were were about to lose our fingers and toes...the girls just looked at us, and said, "oh shit, hold on!", and they ran inside...30 seconds later, 10 people ran to the door, and screamed outside to us, "GREIG WANTS YOU TO COME INSIDE!!!" so they all grabbed us, and pulled us in the door. And there was Greig...I melted! haha He pulled me and Mia into a little group hug, and said that he had no idea that we were waiting outside. We got warmed up, and we talked to him. He felt horrible about the whole thing. He was just such a sweetheart. We had our pictures taken with him, (but they didn't turn out, and you can imagine how mad I was about that), and we just hung out back stage with him for 20 minutes. We talked about the asshole security gaurd who wouldn't let a girl come on stage and sing and such stuff like that. After all the talking came to an end, he said that he had to get out to the bus. So we all bundled up, and went outside. He came right out after us, with his huge winter jacket on. We said our last goodbyes, and he looked right at me, walked over, and gave me a big bear hug, and said, "thanks for coming out to the show". Then he hugged Mia, and patted Shaun on the back. It was the greatest feeling, getting hugged by Greig Nori! I'll never forget it. haha
