FOUTREDIEU!!! was formed and created in 2001 in order to do music as untalented persons. First we began as an invented drum formation. After some recordings and the discovery of electonics we gave up on being musician and drove to the noise genre. The first release, the november 2001's LIVE AND MULLET DIE cassette, a collection of songs with mostly mullet wordgames. Described by aversionline as "True noise from these mullet-obsessed Canadians. I'm talking banging on pots and pans and burping type shit. Plug in a microphone and choke yourself over a distorted loop or some feedback." and latter the review says that "I can't really listen to this". Well for a beginning this was a bad idea. The second release was the March 2002's MULLET IT BE, a very diverse release with different subjects as title and going from harsh harsh noise to grindcore to minimal ambiant. The release was kinda respected in the noise world, Joe Lombardo, the "world's biggest noise fan", described it like "some pieces are political and others crammed with loops that would make you think that the government made them for mind control." Interesting. The follow-up to this was Noizuja, recorded in few days in may 2002 and played as a tribute to jazz and revolution. The album was like a conceptual album mixed of harsh noise, ambiant noise and jazz sampling, which was really appreciated in the noise scene and outside. More stuff are out by Foutredieu!!! like a split with Abstract Evil Barbie and an album called A-402, another conceptual album about inside prison. This is the most known release from Foutredieu!!!, over 100 was distributed worldwide. A RRRecycled tape and an upcomming album on I.N.K. called La Prochaine Fois, Le Feu!!! about fire... Foutredieu!!! will also start playing live soon and another full lenght should be out soon too...
