I'm fucking pissed. I just got back from the Liberty after my friend Nate Burcham heard my name on the scanner, followed by "fire at the Liberty." I told Nate thanx for calling me and i hopped in my car with Mandy and sped down the Liberty cause, hey, that's the place we run and love. Plus our precious cat, Halo, is inside, and so is at least a few grand worth of musical equipment. So.................the fucking couch that Brady Johnson, of the band Drop The World, was supposed to come pick up last fuckin' weekend, cause it was his, caught on fire. It burned up the outside wall on the front right side of building. The fuckin' place reaks of smoke and i'm super happy that the fire department came when they did. I'm happy that my cat is fine and that the fire hadn't spread to the inside, cause everything would be gone. the cat. the musical equipment owned by myself and other local musicians, and all of Mandy's and my belongings that we don't have space for in our apartment.
I have NO CLUE how for the fire started, but the fuckin couch is gone and the wall is fuckin burned black and i'm pissed. if ANYONE has any fuckin' info on who was at the place tonight, the 4th of July, please email me a.s.a.p. at XCOTCX@HOTMAIL.COM!!! i wanna know who the fuck was there and if anyone who hangs out there had anything to do with this. I also need people to offer to help me buy the paint, help me repaint the front part of the building to get the fucking place looking back to normal.
I fuckin' hate fires and I fuckin hate people who like to start fires or who are irresponsible smokers or are assholes who decide to light fireworks near places they shouldn't (these are my three possibilities on how the fuckin' thing happened).
THANX A TON TO THE MINOT FIRE DEPARTMENT FOR GETTING THE FIRE TAKEN CARE OF AND FUCK OFF TO THE FUCKER(S) WHO MAY HAVE CAUSED THIS.

OH YEAH, if ya didn't know yet, TRENT'S A DADDY!!! Trent, who's in Crimes Of The Conspiracy, and his girlfriend, Heather Jackson, welcomed a baby girl in to their lives at 8:30 pm on Tuesday, Sept. 25th, 2001. Her name is Lyricariah Dorotti August Langill and she a beautiful baby. Congrats to the two new parents!!

 SO, WHAT IS THE LIBERTY?
The Liberty is an volunteer-run, all ages hangout/venue in Minot, North Dakota. Open for over 2 years now, the Liberty has hosted more than 125 local and nation-wide bands of all genres, all in the name of DIY and punk rock ethics.
We offer soda, coffee, hot chocolate, and and a great place to hangout and see a show. All prices are requested donations and all concerts range from $3-7 (seven being a rare price).
Concerts happen 2-3 times a month. When attending yr first concert, a membership card, costing only $1, will be added to the door price.
The LIBERTY and it's volunteers welcome everyone of all colors, religions, creed, and sexuality to come out for a good time.
the Liberty is located at 600 4th Ave. NE. The hours are 6 PM-12:30 AM, Fri-Sat.
