Full name:
James Francis LaTaille
Age:
17
Weapon of mass destruction:
Guitar/vox.
Describe yourself shortly:
I'm the big one in the band.
Describe your view on you and your band's music:
We play whatever we like. If at one point we all discovered we were closet Backstreet Boys fans, then we would become a "boy band," which I think is true, because not many bands can honestly say they just play what they feel.
Band who really got you into playing music:
Nirvana.
Music heroes:
Kurt Cobain, Jim Morrison.
Favorite bands:
Saves the Day, New Found Glory, Taking Back Sunday, Student Rick, Rufio, the Beatles, John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band, Bryan Adams, Blind MelonTOP FIVE:
Favorite albums:
(In no particular order) New Found Glory - Nothing Gold Can Stay, Saves the Day - Through Being Cool, The Beatles - The White Album, Eddie and the Cruisers, Motion Picture Soundtrack
Favorite songs:
JC and the Beaver Brown Band - "NYC Song," the Beatles - "Yesterday."
Favorite lyric:
"Yesterday, all my troubles seemed so far away. Now it looks as though they're here to stay." - The Beatles.
Occupation:
I work at a junkyard. Seriously.
What do you do when you're not playing in Sixfinger?:
I play hockey, and hang out with friends. Long live Halo night!
Favorite 6F memory:
I have two... The first one is that show at the Monson Legion where everyone was going nuts, and the second is the weekend we went up to New Hampshire. We spent that whole weekend together playing shows and stuff, and that was the first time I felt like Greg and Gibbs were "part of the family."
Favorite place to play:
It doesn't matter where we play, I just love to play.
You single?:
(I got Jim's bio back with this sction crossed out and scrawled viciously with pen. I'm not sure exactly what he's trying to say, but it doesn't look good).
Any piercings or things of that nature (cough Dan Gibbs cough)?:
NO.
What do you look for in the opposite sex (or in Kevin's case the same sex)?:
I don't look for many things. The main thing is personality. A girl could be ugly on the outside, but if she had a great personality, it wouldn't matter.
Have you ever been in love?:
Yes I have.
FAVORITE:
6F song:
The new one.
Line from a 6F song:
"The season's changed again, it all went by so fast. It's already winter now, and you're still living in the past."
Books:
I don't read.
Movies:
My Cousin Vinny, Biodome, Dude Where's My Car, Running Scared, Clerks, Super Troopers, Office Space, Van Wilder, the Home Alones, Braveheart, Eddie and the Cruisers 1 and 2
Foods:
Soda, fruit snacks. And mac 'n cheese. Boston Market mac 'n cheese. But not real Boston Market mac 'n cheese, the kind that you buy at the supermarket that's frozen.
Quotes:
"Tell ya what I'm gonna give you snakes..." "What are you a moron, Sal?"
Clothes:
Savers.
Comic book:
Nah.
What is the most tragic experience you've gone through:
Seeing one of my best friend's father die. I couldn't even think of what it would be like to have to go through something like that.
What is your biggest fear?:
Becoming famous.
What else scares you?:
Not being able to play my guitar for some reason.
What is your biggest dream:
Playing music for a living. I don't care about getting rich or whatever, I just want to play with my best friends.
What would you change about the past?:
I don't think I would change anything about the past, because some of the things I've done might have been dumb, but that's what life is all about. IF YOU COULD...
Meet anyone:
Kurt.
See any band not together or dead:
Nirvana.
Be anywhere right now:
On tour.
People you couldn't live without:
Dan, Bemis, Greg, Kevin. Oh yeah, and Dave. My mom and dad, and Billbo McScruff. My brother, Bri.
People you could definitely live without:
Kevin's neighbors.
Thank you's:
To Kevin's mom, my mom, and all of my "moms," and to the band for putting up with my "leadership."
Thoughts on the life we live:
You only get one, so don't think about tomorrow, think about the day you're in, because there may not always be a tomorrow.
