05.22.03 Straight to video!
Okay, I admit it, the CD's still not out, but it will be sent out this week, as well as it will now be an enhanced CD featuring some extra footage and video crap, as well as the video for "These Days Say San Diego" (which you can now download by clicking on the link to the right). We've been on a short hiatus, but we will be rocking the Monson Pavillion on Memorial Day, which is this coming Monday. Details are totally unknown to me. Expect a mailing list in the coming day or two.

04.02.03 Spinning the hottest 6F jams commercial free!
Hey guys, what's up. Thank you to everyone who checked out the Darkside radio show on 89.9 Tuesday night. For those of you who didn't, a couple of songs from the new record were played, and much proppage of Friday's show at the Eagle Club was given. If you didn't hear it, please check out the show, it will be this Friday at the Fraternal Order of Eagles (commonly known as "The Eagle Club") on St. James Ave, in Springfield (past the entrance to 291, right before Bing's Foreign Auto). A lot of great bands here including Scattered, I Am Disaster, The Amber Fashion, and more, please go. Also, a new mp3 for "Some Stories Write Themselves" is now available on mp3.com, as well as an unreleased acoustic version of "Letters From Yesteryear." Please help us out and download those songs, and tell you friends about it to, "East Side All Stars Play Hard" is all finished, and we are sending copies to local radio stations in Mass, CT, and other nearby places. We expect it to be released (along with a kicking release party) sometime in early May, but for now, if you can't wait that long, if you live in the Springfield area, check out The Darkside radio show on 89.9 FM Tuesday nights between 8-10 PM to hear some of our new CD before it comes out. And you all know if you want to hear some of it, catch us after a show and we'll let you hear it in the van. That's all for now though, couple of other shows coming up, including one in Meriden, CT (details on shows page). It's a little bit of a ride if you're from around here, but trust me, once you see the band list, you'll see that it's well worth it. Later.

03.01.03 Keeping You Posted Like Corkboards
We're all pretty excited, as the new record, entitled "East Side All Stars Play Hard" is pretty much finished, pending remixing of a few songs and the addition of an acoustic track. After art and pressing is done, it will be out on Rapscallion Records hopefully around mid April. Mad props to Kev and Adam there for putting it out for us. Right now our show count is a little low, but hockey season is over, and everybody's got a little more time on their hands. Expect to see us anywhere and everywhere once spring starts. Also in the coming months, you can expect an acoustic disc. Yes, acoustic. I know what you're thinking. "Cough cough Saves the Day cough cough." Well, it's just that me and Jim have a lot of material written that we've never really had much of a use for, so we decided to slap them all on one CD for you to hear. I know what you're thinking now, "Cough cough Dashboard cough cough." Well, hey, whatever, we've been planning this for quite a while, and I assure you neither of the mentioned bands are our inspiration for this project, Hopefully it will be something a little different. You can get a little preview this Saturday, March 8th, at the Cornerstone, where we will play drummerless, and distortionless. Everything will be acoustic, and I promise it will either suck really really bad or be really really cool. I guess we'll find out. Either way, be there, because there's going tobe some awesome bands like The Drive from Boston (formerly Fake ID), Sonny, and more. Also expect a 7" split (yes, vinyl) with Malachi Constant around early summer, which will probably end up featuring the songs "East Side All Stars Play Hard," and "You've Reached Matt, Leave A Message," both of which are currently unreleased. New t-shirts should be available soon, hopefully in a couple different varieties. Okay, that's about all the news for now. Later.

02.17.03 Recording
Hey, I'm mad lazy and haven't gotten around to the new site in a while and I'm sorry. I will be publicly beaten next week for this great injustice. Anyhow, we began recording Saturday. All the tracks have been layed down and most of the vocals are done. Mixing and mastering will take place this week after all this crazy ass snow is taken care of. Our buddy Doug of The Eleventh Hour will be helping us with CD art for the upcoming release. So I figured I'd thank him for that. Anyhow, plans for the release of the acoustic release, "Seize the Moment" and the 7" split with Malachi Constant are both in the works. Also, we got a new shipment of t-shirts in. More info can be found to the right on that. Got a few shows coming up including an acoustic set March 8th at The Cornerstone. I'll be sending out a mailing list within the week. If you guys want more info, sign up for that at the top of the page. Well, consider yourself updated... I'm out.

11.28.03 Technical Difficulties
Hey, the new site still has some bugs and also isn't really finished, so we figured rather than have it up and be a mess, we'd bring it back just as soon as everything is transferred over. Sorry, it'll be back soon.

12.28.02 The "Sorry, We Haven't Updated In a While" Update
Hey guys, sorry for not posting anything new lately, we've been pretty busy with school, in some of our cases, work, sports, and also playing the occasional show here and there. We've also been writing songs for an upcoming release, which we will be recording with Scott Coar at The Music Room in Easthampton, MA this February. Scott's credentials include work with local favorites the Skeptics and Infamous Jake, among others. A lot of time and work has gone into the songs that will be appearing on this record, and we're very happy with how the new tunes are coming out. We're starting to write the songs we've always wanted to write, and hopefully the record will reflect that. We'll keep you posted as details develop on recording. Other things in the works: between 20 minute power naps, Kevin is hard at work on a new website, which we hope will be ready within the next month or two. This new site will be hosted on a separate server and will be ad free (thank God). Also, thank you to anyone who came and watched us at the Flywheel last night. I thought we played pretty bad, but we got some compliments, and saw an amazing band from Rhode Island called Monty's Fan Club. You should check out their site, and if you ever get a chance to see these guys, go for it. Besides rocking out completely, they were infinitely cool guys who let Greg use their guitar stuff, and gave us a shoutout from onstage. So keep checking back for details, and sign up for the mailing list if you want to get them first. See you all in the new year, and hopefully at the show on January 3rd.

No real news...just letting you all know that we are still alive. Yes, the tabloids were lying, we weren't actually gang-raped by large black men yielding foot-long sausages. That was a lie. Big show tomorrow. along with yours truly, you will be graced with the presences of The Eleventh Hour, The Skeptics, Infamous Jake, Left Out and I Am Disaster. We'll still be selling tickets until 3:00, so for all you procrastinators, that's where it's at. We'll have shirts and whatnot for sale as well. Also, any contest winners that recieved the 10 on the "6F mailing list challenge" will be given their prizes at our merch table at any point during the night. We'll be laying some tracks for the CD down at The Greenhouse on Monday. Anything we finish will be on Mp3.com soon enough. That's all the news for now. Consider yourself up-to-date.

The T-shirts will be in next Wednesday as opposed to tomorrow like we stated earlier as we have been informed that there were complications with the printing. We have a few shows coming up, The most notable being November 8th at the Cornerstone with The 11th Hour, I Am Disaster, and Two Flywheel powerhouses - Infamous Jake and The Skeptics.
